I have been trying to get a hold of a poster with this image for years. I first saw the image on a poster when I was 14 and wanted it, but lost the info. Have seen images of the poster on the web over the years. Found the poster on a CD-Rom for wholesale art dealers over 15 years later, tried to contact the dealer, they were out of business, several years later tracked down the art dealer at her new job, found her via Google. Talked to her a few times, she indeed still has some of the posters, it was her art company that comissioned it in the first place. She has since left the job I last found her at, they're going to forward my contact info to her so hopefully I can get a couple of them. Wish me luck, I'll keep you posted. If you've seen this for sale anywhere please let me know. If no luck I guess I will try a doing a poster from Snapfish.
It was designed as a digital rendition of The Great Wave off Kanagawa by (Katsushika) Hokusai
It was sold in the early nineties by The Boston Computer Museum (which closed in 1999) and a magazine called The High Tech Times. The image begins at the left with the original Great Wave, and is color pixellated through the center, and another wave in wireframe is added to the right. An original Great Wave print hangs in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC, and in Claude Monet’s house in Giverny, France.

The Mummy is a 1932 horror film starring Boris Karloff, Zita Johann, David Manners, Edward Van Sloan and Arthur Byron.
The film is about an ancient Egyptian mummy named Imhotep who is discovered by a team of archeologist and inadvertently brought back to life through a magic scroll. Disguised as a modern Egyptian, the mummy searches for his lost love, whom he believes has been reincarnated into a modern girl.

Do you know that you can discover the gender of Volcanos by looking at the ears?
Female Volcanos do always have ears. Male Volcanos don't do so.
So if you'll ever see a Volcano don't forget to look for the ears. It could be a female Volcano and then you have to treat her very well (because you do so with ladies, don't you?).
We're already getting hot and heavy with Christmas media and event finalizing.
Finished this up a bit earlier because it was a bit of a rush so that we can get some flyer/cards printed that we'll be putting in small bibles we're wrapping with wrapping paper and passing out at a city Christmas parade in early December. Quite excited about it, and happy with how this has turned out.
Let me know what you guys think, and what you would have done differently with a quick (within 4 hours of a meeting) deadline. My creative process was GREATLY squished and stream lined for this one. Still went through basically every phase though. It's amazing how you can optimize your workflow when the pressure is on.
This is just the in-house still screen graphic. I might add some motion later on in early December to add a bit more fun to it though. So don't worry, all the other advertisements (flyers, cards, etc.) have a lot more info about the church on em (address, website, phone, etc.)
Anyway, bring on the comments and such.
