It appears that Robert Vaughan (1592 ?-1666) was born at y Wengraig, seen here.
When he was 20 years old he went to Oxford to study, and later he lived at Hengwrt, near Dolgellau.
At Hengwrt he made a notable collection of manuscripts, of great significance for the Welsh language.
Just a little fun in PS. The foreground is an unused shot from the Vaughan Street Jail; the background, an older shot of the Selkirk lift bridge.

Nature preserve in Hallowell Maine, this bridge is right below the Stickney and Page Dam, built to create a reservoir on the property in 1871. You can find Vaughan Woods at the end of Middle Street in Hallowell where it intersects with the Litchfield Road. This spot is reached by a short 5 minute walk from the parking lot.

A troubled CP 420 passes through one of the few remaining cornfields left in the fast-growing urban hellscape known as Vaughan. The conductor on this train apparently had thrown his knee out from some slack at Bolton and would need to be picked up by an ambulance before the train made it to Toronto, hopefully he’s alright.
In the Vaughan Woods, Hallowell, Maine.

My favorite photo from last year. It was taken on our way home. The sun was setting so we stopped and took a picture. I'm glad we did =)
