1/76 scale diecast models of Mercedes Sprinter, long wheelbase high roof vans, depicting Transport Scotland and the Trunk Roads Incident Support Service (TRISS) operated by BEAR.
I had wanted to depict TRISS in model form, but couldn’t find any decals/transfers. However a seller on eBay, whom I had bought from previously, is open to suggestions. Imagine my surprise to be told within 24 hours that the decal set was ready for sale. 3 days later and I was applying them. I also bought a set of Vinyl decals of Variable Message Signs, commonly seen at the side of motorways, but importantly - fitted to the roof of TRISS vehicles.
I have modelled one van with its Variable Message board fully extended. The second van is depicted mid way through extending the board.
If I can find cheap donor models of the Oxford Diecast BTP Camera van, I may add extendable CCTV poles to these models in future.

One of the Damselflies I had never previously seen - I must confess that initially I struggled to see the 'exclamation mark', on the antihumeral stripes, but once I'd worked out what to look for, it did become easier...
I was helped by the near absence of any other species around the pond during my visit !!!
Filtro ND variable por 15 €.
Tenía ya un filtro polarizador circular (imprescindible). Adquirí otro por eBay, lo más barato que había (15€) de marca "La Culpable S.A.", digo DYNASUN. Pero roscar uno con otro no funciona: hay que desmontar uno de los polarizadores (el barato) e invertir el cristal. Ya solo queda roscarlos y girarlos uno sobre otro.
No es perfecto: viñetea por debajo de 24 mm (equivalente), y si se oscurece mucho, muestra un feo patrón cruciforme. Pero con ajustes medios... resulta muy cómodo enfocar (aclarando la toma), se bloquea el enfoque (se deja en manual), se pone el filtro en posición, y se dispara. Y solo por 15€.

In 1963 variable stability roll and yaw to the VSS and finally A closed-loop throttle servo was added to the B-26 in the mid 1960s for a Supersonic Transport simulation. This was the first application of a four degree-of- freedom simulation system.

A Sharpening Stone which is known as a Coticule, Belgian Waterwhestone or in german "Gelber Belgischer Brocken" which is also shortened as GBB. There is also a second type which is and in the past was mostly used a the backing of the Coticule, the "Belgian Blue Waterwhetstone" or in german "Blauer Belgischer Brocken" shortened as BBW/BBB. Coticules are very interesting in their apperance, none is like the other and sometimes they have really nice structures (banding, gradients, inclusions).
Concerning the performance of the stones, the Coticules are very flexible in usage. That means that the stones with a very thick slurry used with more pressure work quite fast and remove a lot of material! A moderate slurry is a bit slower, using plain water is the slowest way which is used to polish the bevel and finish on the Stone. Later on there is a link to both Sharpening techniques brought to paper from Coticule.be named "Unicot" und "Dilocut" which are both great if they are well learned.

A very nice natural grown Stone with layers of yellow Coticule and BBW mixed up together. A very fine and very fast stone.
