Spanish Banks Beach, West Point Grey, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
I used Photoshop CS3 to merge 4 photos into this panorama. Each photo was an HDR image also done in Photoshop by merging exposures at +1, 0 and -1 EV.

Visiting friends condo in Vancouver's west-end includes attendance by across the hall neighbours cat, Winston, a cute ragdoll rescued from the SPCA.
Winston is a character who has the ability to open doors. The condo door has a handle, not a knob and Winston can reach it, pull it down and open the door.
Situated up north in Canada as she delves into the filming of “Eclipse,” Ashley Greene was spotted roaming the streets of Vancouver on Wednesday (August 19).
The Alice Cullen actress actress popped her headphones on and took her pup, Marlow, for some fresh air before getting to work on the third installment of the “Twilight” saga.
Meanwhile, controversy continues to swirl in regards to the recent release of Ashley’s much talked about nude photos - with her lawyer insisting that the Internet distribution was illegal and posting them is unlawful.
Greene’s attorney claimed that the actress “owns the exclusive rights, among others, to reproduce, distribute, and to display the photos.”

Vancouver House will probably become one of the most photographed buildings in the city, if it isn't already. At 500 feet, it will be our fourth tallest building. Most striking of all, it curls outwards from a small triangular base to a much larger fully rectangular top floor. Designed by Danish architect Bjarke Ingels, it takes advantage of an unused wedge of land between the Granville Bridge and its elevated on-ramp.

I Believe by Nikki Yanofsky
There comes a moment when my heart must stand alone
On this lonely path I've chosen
Like a house that's not a home
Sometimes when I feel I've had enough
And I feel like giving up
You willed me to be all I can be
Now nothing can stop me
I believe in the power that comes
From a world brought together as one
I believe together we'll find
I believe in the power of you and I
This is the moment we have dreamed of all our lives
We'll be the change we wish from others
We'll stand tall for what is right
And in my heart there'll be no doubt
The arms of the world will come reaching out
And embrace me to be all I can be
Now nothing can stop me
I believe in the power that comes
From a world brought together as one
I believe together we'll fly
I believe in the power of you and I
I believe the time is right now
Stand tall and make the world proud
I believe together we'll fly
I believe in the power
I believe in the power that comes
From a world brought together as one (Of you and I)
I believe together we'll fly
I believe in the power of you and I (Power)
I believe the time is right now (Of you and I)
Stand tall and make the world proud
I believe together we'll fly (Together we'll fly)
I believe in the power of you and I (I believe in the power of you and I)
This is my favorite viewpoint of the south side of downtown Vancouver. Excellent views all year round!
The Drop is a 65-foot (20 m) tall steel sculpture resembling a raindrop designed by the group of German artists known as Inges Idee, located at Bon Voyage Plaza in the Coal Harbour neighborhood of downtown Vancouver. The steel core is covered with styrofoam and blue polyurethane. According to Inges Idee, the sculpture is "an homage to the power of nature" and represents "the relationship and outlook towards the water that surrounds us". The Drop was commissioned as part of the 2009 Vancouver Convention Centre Art Project. (Wikipedia)
I can not pass this mural on Homer Street at a West Cordova parking garage in downtown Vancouver without looking at it and it's all about the eyes.
No signature on the mural so I have no idea who the artist is.
