The Dreamliner in Qatar livery is seen during Friday's validation flight for the Farnborough Airshow. Back to back demo flights were completed today by Boeing pilots, one by Mike Bryan and one by Randy Neville.
The airplane will fly in next week's displays at the show.

I had created a video featuring my photography combined with the song "Oh My God" by Sixx:AM. Nikki Sixx himself saw it and passed it on to his fans. It was a great feeling of validation from a photographer and artist that you admire.

This is a map of the Flickr site, where they grey circles represent URLs that end in a slash, and the blue circles are (I think) images.
Based on Sala's Web Sites As Graphs, this is a crawler that visualizes the validation profile of the pages in a Web site. As it traverses links, it also draws a clear image of the IA (the "site map"). It's hard to think of another free tool that gives this kind of immediate, visual insight into how a site is organized. Definitely not production-ready. And, of course (its a tree graph), it doesn't show all the links between pages.
As the James Clark Ross slowly navigates its way through the Atlantic Ocean, following the contour of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, data are being continually collected to assess the biological, physical and chemical properties of the ocean.

Multifactor volumetric structural-geodynamic models “4D GeoSEISM” with exact ranging and forecasting of mineral deposits, low-amplitude tectonics, geophysical anomalies and geologic properties of deep structures, using volumetric interpretation methods of multispectral satellite images for cost-effective geological prospecting.

4D GeoSEIS software for computer processing of the ASTER and Landsat7ETM images have been used to create the volumetric structural-geodynamic models of the NW Namibia & SE Angola territory to discriminate the high potential concentration of mineral resources based on limited field data in order to aid exploration for new copper and titaniferous magnetite mineralization. The strategy adopted to facilitate this predictive modeling is to develop understanding and testing of a “4D GeoSEIS Model” through research. They allowed calculating the potential resources of commercially important concentration of copper and titaniferous magnetite ores. Several points of Fe-Ti-Cu mineralization predicted by the 4D GeoSEISM had been confirmed by field observations.
