It feels immense pride to bring to your notice, our student Vihaan Joshi, Grade I-B, who has won the Lego Making Contest at national level held by Makers Loft, Kolkata in the Lego Ninja category. Given the theme 'Planet/Asteroid', Vihaan designed a 'Green Planet' based on the sustainable concept of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. It had tall buildings to save space on the ground for gardens and lakes. The building possessed windmills and solar panels on the top to utilise natural energy. It also held parking for air taxis and green terraces at various levels. Well done Boy! Congratulations.

Encouraging to explore activity-based learning have made the students attempt and furnish themselves with skills in critical thinking and creativity. The students of Grade 3 were asked to prepare shapes of internal organs of the human body. They used different internal organs of the body using clay and wheat dough. Moreover, they learnt to locate, identify and determine functions and physical characteristics of internal organs by performing this activity. We appreciate students who had participated in this activity and shown their creativity and imagination with great enthusiasm and zeal.

Making the students aware of Doctor's Day, we also familiarised them about the First Aid kit, its importance, and asked them to perform an activity on it. The activity helped them recognize the different types of medicinal aids/gears available. They additionally got acquainted by their names and the importance of each aid. Our students Vihaan Joshi, Maher Shah and Akansh Panchal from Grade I-B, II-D and VI-D respectively won first prize in the Lego Contest by Makers Loft. The Parent-Child Contest was conducted mainly to honor Father's Day, where the father-child duo had to create an "Iconic Building". Vihaan, along with his father participated in the 4-6 years age-group category and made 'The Happy Monument', winning the Most Creative Lego; whereas our brick Master Mehar, with his father won under 7-9 years category. Akansh and his father built a 'Technology Experience Centre' and won under the Lego Ninja Category in the age group of 10-13 years. Congratulations to all the father-son duos!
