Today’s Trivia… #1 Cat Island in Japan where the cats to humans ratio is 6:1 #2 Haiku Stairs otherwise known as Stairway to Heaven with 3922 steps . . . I go crazy over books & places I’ve never seen before. The fact that I can find something brand new anywhere makes me deliriously happy and drives me bananas. #vacationmode
Aboard the Pulitzer Hotel's boat, The Tourist, as part of a food tour I took in the Jordaan District of Amsterdam. It's a 1920s classic hotel salon boat with polished teak and brass, nearly all original. Winston Churchill toured Amsterdam's canals in this very same boat in 1946. There were a couple windows that didn't open without getting stuck. I blame Churchill.
