Author and former inmate of Alcatraz, William Baker was nice enough to sign my copy of his memoir "Alcatraz #1259" and allowed me to capture him for my (608)strangers. Even though a great distance from Wisconsin, we talked a bit of football and he informed me that he believed that Jordan Love would live up to the hype this year and the Packers would make the playoffs. Aboard the Pulitzer Hotel's boat, The Tourist, as part of a food tour I took in the Jordaan District of Amsterdam. It's a 1920s classic hotel salon boat with polished teak and brass, nearly all original. Winston Churchill toured Amsterdam's canals in this very same boat in 1946. There were a couple windows that didn't open without getting stuck. I blame Churchill.
