that's something you can google. sadly, in our town, it applies to great ideas for renovating failed sites which, in the end, fail themselves. we're still waiting for this one to live up to promise. the red paint is a start and we do like the grazing goats. but where are the creemies?

The Devil does Halloween. Or tries. He figured being "a smidgen too red" would fly this merry season, and he could just blend in with the myriad of devils, smurfs, and other people rocking body paint. Just one problem - gotta hide the all-too-real horns.

Standing there, was absolutely breathtaking. It looks as if the winter from the left side is about to attack the autumn on the right. And in addition, I got some crepuscular rays too :) What a day!

Wet dandelions vs dry dandelions:

Wet-They stick on your fur

and get in your mouth

Dry-They get in your nose

and make you sneeze

I spotted an osprey in a tree on the edge of our lake and brought my camera down to take shots of the ultimate dive for the fish - a shot i have yet to get. Instead a crow challenges the osprey for his perch. The crow attacked the osprey three times - after the third time, the osprey left and chose another fishing spot. It's part of a pattern i see all the time in human behavior - sitting quietly minding your own business and somebody comes along to ruin your day.
