I've read that the 18-200mm VR lens from Nikon doesn't produce great bokeh... then how do you explain this shot?

I actually like this better than the one shot using my Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 as the flowers appear sharper.

Oh yeah, "vivid" image optimization is amazing on the D70s.
