We've been considering in our household whether it's worth getting one of those cool ASUS EeePC notebook computers. For $350 Canadian running a Linux-based OS it looks like it would be very easy to use. It's got web, mail, Skype, OpenOffice, media players, and even KStars. I'm sold. This would be the perfect notebook to hookup to a telescope that had a GoTo mount.

VMWare held their quarterly federal breakfast at the Monocle Restaurant on Capitol Hill. Today's topic was cloud computing using the VMware suite and the future of cloud computing as VMware sees it.
