A swarm of bees issued forth from one of our hives and landed in a nearby branch. We happened to have a swarm catching box with us (this is really rather a coincidence!) so Dave shook it into the box. Cue video.
Tomorrow I'm presumably going to put the swarm into a regular hive box. I'll try to document. (=
ATTN: it only shows the first 1:30 of the 2:07 length video ... can someone tell me if this is the max flickr will allow or just an error?
OK, not exactly the middle of nowhere, but there is a lot of nothing on the way. So lets take 200 pictures of it! Driving on highways is normally fairly boring, but there were some surreal moments. Such as, the sun hugging the horizon, the fog bank, the great swamp. I found some really interesting places just by random chance of taking that particular exit. Oh, and I guess it was the week after Christmas too so there's a couple photos of that stuff.

For day 5 of Videoblogging Week I’m digging up some never before seen footage I shot on December 13th last year. The scene is outside San Quentin State Prison the night of the execution of Stanley “Tookie” Williams. His execution was especially controversial as Williams had renounced gang life and had become an effective anti-gang activist. Thousands of anti-death penalty activists turned out in hopes of a last minute commutation of Williams’ sentence.
It's videoblogging week and this my contribution for today.

This is part of my daily morning training, and nothing else.
After walking and working with some postures and inner images, a short choreography emerges, that's what you see in this Butoh vlog.
The music you hear is not what I was listened to when I was in the training, it was added later.
Esto es parte de mi entrenamiento diario y nada más.
Después de caminar y trabajar algunas posturas e imágenes internas surge una pequeña coreografía; eso es lo que se ve en cada video de mi Vlog de Butoh.
La música que se escucha no es aquella que yo escuchaba mientras entrenaba, sino que ha sido añadida más tarde durante la edición del video.

This was very exciting because I was able to roll in my most recent video from Spices of Life and show people what i was talking about when I explained that I shot the show on a Nokia N93/N95, edited it in Final Cut Pro, and hosted it on blip.tv.
