Alaska's Virgin Creek falls has limited ways to capture it. It was a treacherous slippery drop to reach this level of the falls for this perspective. It would have been destructive to get any closer so glad to get this.

A small falls near Girdwood Alaska. Loved the rainforest that surrounded it. Pure enchantment.

I stopped by Virgin creek falls while on my trip to Portage. This location is always beautiful no matter how many times I go here.

On top of the basilica of Notre-Dame de Brebières in Albert, Somme, France. The church was built 1885-1895 in Neo-Byzantine style. The sculpture of the Virgin Mary holding out the infant Jesus was made by the artist Albert Roze, and was called the Golden Virgin. The church was damaged during the First World War, but even though the church was a pile of rubble, the statue stayed on up after heavy bombardment in 1915 (the rest of the town was also destroyed) and became quite a landmark. It stayed that way for three years, but in 1918 the statue was hit again and it fell. The church was restored in 1927-1929 to its original looks, and an exact replica of the statue was placed on top of the church. (The gilding has also been restored more recently - it really is quite eye-catching!)
Looking along the path of the Virgin River on a June evening, as the river exits Zion Canyon and heads south towards the town of Springdale, Utah.
The contrast of the red rock and green trees and plants never fails to amaze me - it's just so beautiful.
Pentax K1000 - Portra 400 - Virgin Falls State Natural Area, Tennessee - This hike is one of my favorites. It's tough but the destination is spectacular. There were only a few people at the falls. The campsite was great and close to the waterfall. It was perfect.

The Virgin River flows toward the Watchman in Zion National Park. Things look quite different in the bottom of the canyon as opposed to looking down from the rim.
