My iPhone could not capture how truly unique this cloud looked. I thought I had captured the whole circle but unfortunately I didn’t look until later. :(

Invergowrie Bay, Dundee, Scotland.

Very Large Catch.

Eagle at Bombay Hook NWR with a fish that was too large for it to lift. So it was dragging it towards the shore until another eagle tried to steal it and the fish escaped.

It was very overcast drizzling morning with rain on and off, but I went out in search of this beautiful male Prothonotary Warbler. It didn't let me down. Made my day brighter with it's bright yellow plumage. Central Bucks, PA.

Very fortunate to have seen a couple of Orange-bellied Parrots at the Western Treat Plant yesterday. The ObP is a critically endangered bird. It is thought that there are less than 60 birds left in the wild. There are various breeding programs being undertaken to try and save the species. They breed in Tasmania over Summer and migrate to coastal Eastern Australia for Winter. You can read more about them here australianmuseum.net.au/learn/animals/birds/orange-bellie...

A decorative display in a Budapest hotel lobby.

Extremely sharp and very, very effective chopping blades.

The very impressive Iron Age broch (stone tower) on the island of Mousa, Shetland. It’s the largest and best preserved in the world, pretty much. It gets mentioned several times in the Viking sagas, though it dates from much earlier.

For an account of my trip to the Shetland Islands:

Must be the time of year for these guys because several of my neighbors have them. I noticed they are leaving them in the plastic pot. Do they not last long? I don't know.

At first glance maybe an unusual spider? lol! This is a "bear claw," one of two that I use to retrieve a large, stuffed turkey from the oven twice a year. Yes, Thanksgiving and Christmas. ( I think it would make a great weapon, too if I encountered a burglar in my home)! Super sharp! Happy Crazy Tuesday everyone!

in a very hot period this female Bengal Tiger was in the early morning resting in the beautiful Ken River in Panna National Park, Madhya Pradesh, India.

The water level in the river was very low at the end of the dry season. This image was taken from a small ridge near the river.

A few hours later and more upstream this Tigress killed an adult male Sambhar Deer that was drinking at the edge of the river.

When we heard about her kill, we went back and waited for her in the soaring heat in a small boat on the river hoping that she needed to drink after feeding from the kill .

And luck was with us when she came to the river and we could observe her from a short distance without any other people around. In the 2 albums there are images taken from the small boat.

She was....as she sat with her new friends. She had just picked the most wonderful tree to take back home to her family. She enjoyed a warm sweet cup of deliciousness and listened to her friends.

"You all sure do ask a lot of questions..." she said with a grin.

A very friendly little Robin today

From flower to flower this Bee did jump complicating my efforts to capture her. Fun to watch and tough to capture making my efforts that much more rewarding. Thanks for viewing my work. Gratitude is key. Stay kind.

Very pretty flower, did not have a scent, Caldecott Park, Rugby, Warwickshire.

In the searing heat of Death Valley it finally finds its Mistress, breaking out a bottle each from the emergency survival kit before trying to explain to Mistress how it has managed to lose the maps it was charged with for the day out.

It was still too dark for the usual serious photographers who like to come out to capture the sunrise in front of the Palazzo Ducale.
