we took the train from cologne, germany to frankfurt. flew to new york city and stayed there for a few day. from tehre we continued our trip to san diego where comic con was waiting already for us. after a few days in the south of california we continued our trip to los angeles and back to new york. alltogether I tink we spend around 20 days in the us.
enjoyable and fun as always and I can't wait to get back. calihere I come... or maybe not. yet...
The Royal Clipper. The largest of the three ships in the Star Clipper line. Here it's seen along the Grand Canal in Venice. This beautiful ship still gives luxury cruises today in 2023.

We have been offline for the past week, enjoying each others company. Rented a small cottage in Galena, Illinois for the past week. Internet was sparse, outdoors was quite, company lovely.
Normally we are not so messy, but, oh heck there is no but. The gin and bourbon were consumed, chips and salsa ate, pineapple devoured. By the time we left, we had cleaned up after ourselves, and wondered if this is what it will be like when we retire. And if it is, well, let's just say we will have smiles on our faces. Take care of one another. B

Now my autumn vacation starts already in two days, and I'll spend 8 days in the city of Copenhagen (the capital of Denmark) for the first time. First together with a friend, and then together with my choir. It will be so much fun!

This little dino decided it was time for some R & R. Yes sir-re, rest and relaxation are just what the doctor ordered! Luckly he knew a spot that welcomed dino’s like him. Connie Conch’s Conch Island Festival Sooner than you could say Cretaceous. It opens to the public May 4th, but he called ahead and got to sneak in. What do ya’ll think, does this dino look like he’s got it made or what?
