It's nearly the holidays - and what better way to travel than in a V8 camper van with flames painted on!
Matford was the French FORD before World War 2. It had a V8 engine and ... very high taxes, so the car didn't sell very well. A new model appeared in 1937 with a very small 2,2 Litre V8. This one was complying with affordable taxes. Despite the nice American design, the Matford completely outdated against its competitor, the Citroƫn Traction Avant. Production enede with the beginning of the war, and Matford disappeared to become FORD France after the war.
Austin is on a hot rod kick. :) We combined the V8 from Tristan's V8 Flo's station and the older LEGO set #6561 Hot Rod Club. Sure we will add to it when we build IRL. :)
Have been wanting to build a garage since I started building the hot rods. I had a simple one a while back, but Austin wanted me to build a complete shop and garage. Simple lil shop and garage. Roof will have easy-off option. We have most of it built in the brick now. Need to order some black though. We had the V8 pieces built but traded them away with the last garage. Need to build them again. :) I tried to render this, but the glass kept coming out too dark, and I was NOT going to try in POV-Ray. Would take a week with all that glass. LOL
Nice combo in London street's, Mayfair, 2 weeks ago
which one for you ? The Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series or the Bentley Continental GT Speed W12 ?
