Singapore Botanic Garden- pic 29 of 98: One of the garden service vehicles runs past in the Singapore Botanic Garden. It's a quaint tractor- trailer used by staff in the Singapore Botanic Garden, probably built around a golf cart platform. Spread over 200 acres and stretching about 2.5 km north to south, the Singapore Botanic Garden is one of only three gardens worldwide that is UNESCO World Heritage listed. Indeed, it must take quite an effort to keep all those bushes and trees healthy and disease free. And must involve much sweat and muscle power too, given Singapore's intense tropical heat, especially thanks to it's proximity to the equator. More notes about the Singapore Botanic Garden appeared earlier in this album. (Singapore, Sept. 2023)
My wife and I attended the World's Shortest Parade at the Jack Pait Strawberry Farm in Allenton, NC just outside of Lumberton.
I love these small utility vehicles we saw in China. It would be fun to have one and customize it. I doubt one could ever be given the OK to be imported into the US though.
