Le "Japan Bridge", conçu par l'architecte japonais Kisho Kurokawa, a une portée unique de 100 mètres. Pour dessiner cette passerelle piétonne, Kurokawa s'est inspiré du design des ponts traditionnels japonais. Elle a été mise en service en 1993.

Den långa skuggan och det varma ljuset fångar ett ögonblick av stillsam förväntan. Den ensamma cykeln vilar vid den tomma stenen, väntar på att en vän ska ansluta, medan den träbänk inbjuder till en stunds vila. Det fångar perfekt den stillhet som infinner sig precis efter arbetsdagens slut. Innan området fylls igen imorgon, tar staden ett djupt andetag.

The body language of the girl behind gives me the shivers. What is she thinking, what could she be feeling? Like the younger girl talking to her -- I imagine -- father, she seems to be carrying one bottle which makes me think they should be family. But then, while the younger girls seems ver close to her father, the older one...
