Here are three different wing plans for Rev 1.2
At the bottom, you see the current Rev 1.1a main wing. It looks great except for one problem: the wing root on the trailing edge does not line up with the top of the rearmost window, leaving an annoying strip of Tan poking out. What's needed is to essentially scoot the trailing edge back by a stud. The two results (so far) are the two sides of the aircraft at the top.
In Dark Blue is the original Rev 1.2 wing. This tried to scoot the trailing edge back by scooting the leading edge up, forcing everything backward. Sadly, it still leaves the strip of Tan. The Rev 1.2 Test Type corrects this issue, but looks substantially more bulky than both the 1.1a and early 1.2 wings.
Work on the wing is the last part of Rev 1.2 but has proven to be the most frustrating!
Cara nova para o Fiercely Fiona com konad m83.
Achei que ficou com cara de azuleijo vintage rsrsrs.
Ahhh achei que o esmalte azul da konad assim como o preto mancha muito ... e nem me arrisquei a passar top coat !
The latest update to Leopard was released earlier this week and while I updated all of the official Macs I held off on the hackint0sh till today just incase something went wrong. Guess what, nothing went wrong. The update went smoothly. I'm not getting the extended battery performance that is being circulated around the net though.
Here I just wanted to show the difference in size between a MacBook and a MSI Wind. If you thought the MacBook was small think again!
For setup I placed a 550EX behind the MacBook and pointed it directly at the wall. I noticed that I had some light spill towards the right edge of the Wind. I controlled that by placing one of my daughter's puzzle boxes to block that side from the flash.
For key light I wanted to do an overhead light simulation but I have no boom but I do have a tripod so I decided just to put the camera on the tripod and hand hold the light stand myself.
In order to prevent contamination of the key light to the background light I covered up the top portion of the umbrella and just left the lower part exposed.
The camera's shutter and ISO where selected to control the LCD of the computers. Everything else is lit by the 430EX.
Strobist info:
1 430EX (key) 1/4 power 1/2 of a shoot through umbrella right above computers
1 550EX (background) 1/8 power grid left side barn door pointed at wall
Camera settings:
1/4 f/10 ISO100
Lens used:
Canon EF 50mm f/1.2L USM

HI Flickr friends,
Just an update to let everyone what is going on. I will be away for a couple of days. My wife was admitted this morning to the hospital and it was a bit of a scary moment. We thought that she might be having a stroke and so the ER was the best bet. After some tests and some anxious moments, all of her motor skills returned and all of the speech and reading problems vanished. Preliminary indications are that she had another T I A or Transient Ischemic Attack.
What is a transient ischemic attack (TIA)?
Some people call a transient ischemic attack (TIA) a mini-stroke, because the symptoms are like those of a stroke but don't last long. A TIA happens when blood flow to part of the brain is blocked or reduced, often by a blood clot. After a short time, blood flows again and the symptoms go away. With a stroke, the blood flow stays blocked, and the brain has permanent damage.
By noon she had no lasting symptoms and is doing just fine. This is the 5th time this has happened so it’s better that it is a T I A and not a full blown stroke. We will be fine and I just ask for your thoughts and prayers for wife. We’ll take some time and I’ll be back online soon. Have a wonderful day.
No need for comments or such.
Thank you,
Jerome

LOL! I had her part in braids to keep it out of the way and now her hair is part frizzy. It looks funny. Good thing her hair is getting curled. I still have a few rows to do and the bang part :)
I've had my Fauxdori for about a month now and I love it. It's working out a lot better for than the Hobonichi did.
I added a hanging charm that I got from Disney World last year. I bought it last year without any idea of what I'd be using it for, but it works nicely for my fauxdori. When I go back to Disney World I'm going to buy some more charms.
I've also been looking into buying refills (lined and grid), but getting four refills was rather expensive; anywhere between $34 and $50 USD. I have printer paper and cardstock so I could very well make refills myself. So, I bought a long arm stapler and I'm going to do just that.
We found this rabbit nest today in my neighbor's yard. Right out in the open. A site about raising wild baby rabbits says, "Rabbits hide their nests in plain view, often putting them in the open; for example, in the middle of the lawn, as well as in brush piles and long grass."
So maybe they will be OK.
