The days are growing short here in Denmark. I had been in a reading group from 12- 3pm, then had a bite to eat. By the time I grabbed my bike and camera it was nearing 4pm and nearing evening. This panorama is taken half way between The University of Souther Denmark and Holluf GĂĄrd, open fields that do well to reveal the skies. Around 5pm, and the sun was down and I was hurrying home.

The first archaeological project for our newly educated commercial SCUBA divers: A no visibility survey in the harbour of Schleswig, Germany. Filmed by a television team from the NDR, the divers recovered several ship timbers from the harbour, including part of a keel and planks from a medieval clinker built vessel.
