This took me far longer to edit than I would have ever imagined. I don't even think I want to admit just how long it took...... Apparently there is an incredible amount of air traffic to the west of Kanab Utah.
I left Kanab heading west and just pulled off the road, drove out some completely random roads, parked on a corner and started shooting. I was there for almost 3 hours and not one car drove down this road. I definitely didn't expect to get that lucky when I was setting it up!! The small "smudge" in the bottom left was a rogue cloud band. I thought about removing it but it tells a little more of the story. :)

Here's a star trail from the Grand Canyon. What a truly amazing experience. The Grand Canyon is such an absolutely incredible place to visit during the day that I think most people forget about how amazing it is at night. But I didn't...;)
I met and chatted with a couple people out this night and they were shooting the night sky like I was. I love meeting new people at night that carry the same interests that I do. (astrophotography)

My visit to the Alexian Brothers Novitiate went a little something like this. I must say it's an absolutely incredible place to be and shoot! There's a little bit more light pollution than I was expecting but it's not too bad though I was still able to get the milky way obviously! I wish I could see some pictures from when it was built back in 1939! I'm sure it was absolutely stunning! I was using a Lume Cube camera left and camera right to light this scene. Both had gels and a diffuser.
If you are interested in shooting here please contact the appropriate people! They are extremely easy to work with and it's helps keep this place here to be able to shoot!!
