Happy Friday
This is my last post before Christmas, so wanted to wish you all a wonderful holiday season, whether or not you celebrate. And I'd like to thank you for all your lovely comments throughout the year. I've made so many friends on here, and quite a few more in the past year, and love the interactions and seeing the mix of all your different types of photography. Looking forward to another year of photography and friendship :)
I made these wire balls for Christmas decorations and put them into a crystal bowl. Taken with my Pentacon AV 80mm, and Kenko extension tubes.

Even though the world outside may appear to be falling apart...
Stay strong, my friends.
Let's continue to rise up to meet any challenges placed before us.
Together we can imagine and create a brilliant future for all.
Keep shining bright!
There's ice in my water
And when I drink, it cuts my tongue
There's glass on the playground
It cuts my skin when I run
And from the dark, into the light
I saw a stone burst into life
And in the corner of your eye
I saw a dream that never died
Speak to me, speak to me
With love in your words
Make for me, make for me
A soft universe
My body falls off the side of her bed
And now I know what love feels like
Don't let me turn into pain
All of this is loveliness
Chaos came, we laid our head
Down on the feather cotton bed
We find a heart and catch your breath
Let the universe go red
A lettuce is a cosmos inhabited by tiny beings. This snail will not measure more than 3 mm and it glides on the edge of a leaf like a surfer in an ocean of chlorophyll.
Tribute to KPop, BTS, Coldplay and chocolate! Listen to the song and hum or sing along. My Universe is currently my favorite song. I love it!
In the night, I lie and look up at you
When the morning comes, I watch you rise
There's a paradise they couldn't capture
That bright infinity inside your eyes

The bright blue sky above the Red Canyon walls and the solar reflection create an impressive natural marvel of geological patterns and swirling colors.
When the mind ventures into realms beyond the ordinary, to be met with a vibrant display of swirling colors..
It's like the universe whispering secrets and revealing truths.
Within, you hold a tiny piece of eternity, a fraction of life, a mirror of the universe.

TREES
“You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars. In the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul.”

I wanted to perform a different shot just to abstract reality a bit more... so I took my 100mm lens and could get the part of the ceiling with the blue blue sky and the complementary color of the ceiling...
dedicated to Hanni and her great stream... Imagine the depth of the blue sky...
maybe it seems to simple but I love this one... :=)))
approximately a bit less than one third of the photo is yellow and two thirds are blue... just the right way for me...
Hanni as promised this one is for you...
This is a Painting/Digital Compilation. I painted the face with acrylic paint, took a picture of the painting and then digitally added a sky texture to it. I have been spending more time painting than taking pictures, but photography is my first love.

One of my lifetime dreams since teenage days came true as I had the opportunity to go to Iceland for almost three weeks this autumn. Well, I already knew it would be awesome but I didn't expect it to be that magical ... I'm still under some kind of spell and hope to return.
This is a scene close to the glacier Vatnajökull where some monks happened to wander around as we came there at sunset time.
