“I offer you peace. I offer you love. I offer you friendship. I see your beauty. I hear your need. I feel your feelings. My wisdom flows from the Highest Source. I salute that Source in you. Let us work together for unity and love." Mahatma Ghandi

A photo illustration depicting the unity between the United States of America and Paris after the terroist attacks on Paris on Friday, Nov. 13, 2015 in Saint-Denis, France, that left 130 citizens dead. (Photo by: Kristina Vicario)

I created this photo illustration by using the paintbrush tool to mirror the French flag across the faces of the building in different layers and then lowering the opacity of each layer to allow both the building and the color to show through. I also placed the Eiffel Tower in the back of my photo using the magnetic lasso tool around the structure itself, and then using the eraser to hide the surrounding sky from the original image. I then dragged the image over to my illustration and resized it using the transform tool and then lowered the opacity to symbolize the lasting effect here in the United States.

14-02-04 Unity Hall, Wakefield restoration project. Some of the large open spaces are being split into smaller offices / workshops spaces. Note the stained glass / wood panelling that has been rescued from elsewhere in the building, meaning Unity’s workspaces will be far from run-of-the-mill.

Unity Temple, 1905-1908, Frank Lloyd Wright, 875 Lake St.

One of the most important Wright's building in the beginning of the 20th century. Many people think it's the first modern building. Concrete only. Double core: the taller side is the Temple, and the shorter side is the House. No window at the street side. Lighting mostly from roof windows with yellow and green stained glass.

Wright said when he designed this building, for the first time he realized that the true soul of a building is not wall but space.

If the government is able to provide subsidy for broadband internet services as well as instruction and information on ways to take full advantage of internet services for those who need it, I believe we will have a much more diverse voice on the Web, as well as a smaller gap between classes. Built between the years 1905 and 1908 in Oak Park, Illinois, Unity Temple is often considered one of Frank Lloyd Wright's most important structures. Wright's use of a single material, reinforced concrete, and his efficient use of space make Unity Temple one of the first modernist buildings in the world and influenced many future modernist and post-modernists.

The Atom Brick Unity Temple set highlights the total structure and use of casted concrete to create areas of interest on the façade. Builders will gain appreciation for the innovation of a building designed and built over 100 years ago.
