Brand new eternity ring... all the way round princesses and brilliants...set in platinum: perfection really. Photographed for Rumour's bespoke jewellery portfolio and website. .

(Has been featured on the Boston Globe website as a family craft project for Easter 2009.)

* I designed this Sugar Bag with insuline dependant diabetics in mind. It has no less than ten (!) pockets inside, to carry along insuline pens, needles, bloodsugar measuring device, lancets and test strips, notebook and pen, tissues, etc.
But then again, you don’t need insuline dependant diabetes to enjoy a bag like this, with this many pockets...
The bag is made out of faux suede and faux leather. It gets its sturdiness from a 3mm thick felt layer between the outside and inside fabric.
* Ik heb deze Sugar Bag (Suiker Tas) ontworpen met insuline-afhankelijke suikerzieken in gedachten. De tas heeft niet minder dan tien (!) binnenzakken, om er insuline pennen, naalden, bloedsuiker meetapparaat, lancetjes en teststrips, notitieboekje en pen, tissues, etc. in mee te nemen.
Maar je hoeft natuurlijk geen insuline afhankelijke diabeet te zijn om van een tas als deze, met zoveel zakken, te genieten.
De tas is gemaakt uit namaak suède en namaak leer. Hij krijgt zijn stevigheid door een 3mm dikke laag vilt tussen de buitenste en de binnenste stof.

* My keychain lip balm holders come in 5 sizes. This size, size E, holds those rectangular tins with the sliding lids.
* Mijn lipcrèmehouders zijn er in 5 maten. Deze maat, maat E, is geschikt voor die rechthoekige blikjes met schuifdeksels.
1.97ct near perfect emerald cut aquamarine with horizontally set baguette diamonds in 18ct white gold engagement ring for a bespoke jewellery client. I photographed this for our bespoke portfolio and website.
* Crocheted keychain lip balm holder. They come in five sizes, this one is a size D.
* Gehaakte sleutelhanger lipcrèmehouder. Ze zijn er in vijf maten, dit is een maat D.

* Necklace with crocheted beads. I made dozens of them, years back (I appologize for the tiny mannequin I had at that time, it doesn't do justice to the necklaces).
* Ketting met gehaakte kralen. Ik heb er jaren geleden tientallen gemaakt (Mijn excuses voor de te kleine etalagepop die ik toen had, ze doet de kettingen geen recht).

From baroque to gothic styles, there is something for everyone to appreciate in the architecture of these sacred places.

* Crocheted cozies for slim 20oz or 0.5L bottles of water or soda. They have an integrated handle/closure.
* Gehaakte hoesjes voor smalle 0.5 liter flessen water of frisdrank. Ze hebben een gecombineerd handvat/sluiting.
An impressive, vertical-perspective shot captured within the interior courtyard of a modern Lisbon hotel. The view looks straight up toward the large glass skylight, which is crisscrossed by structural cables and trailing vines. The surrounding vertical walls are dramatically covered in dense living wall material and plantings, creating a striking urban oasis effect. Small, spherical pendant lights hang at varying heights, illuminating the white stucco architecture and adding warmth to the twilight sky visible through the clear roof. This design beautifully merges contemporary architecture with natural, textural elements.

Alexandrite is an ultra rare and expensive stone, but I was presented with only one trillion so was at a loss what to design it into... a pendant or brooch seemed the only likely choices. Photographed for our website and portfolio.
Named after The Czar Alexander II. Chromium makes it appear as two colours. Natural or fluorescent light makes it green & tungsten makes it red.
