Starting with just an idea about colour, we developed the design from the bottom up to be totally original. This photo has been waiting for processing for quite a few months.... and here it is for the portfolio. Finally!

Brilliant cut 1.50ct diamond in a rub-over platinum setting.
A uncomplicated, subtle design literally hewn from solid platinum. The brilliant cut diamond is shown off in magnificent unadulterated style. We made this ring a few years ago but I got it back to re-polish and re-photograph it for our website.

Eternity Ring design "Binary"
0.08ct baguette cut diamonds with alternate 0.14ct round sapphires channel set in 18ct yellow gold. This is a 3/4 eternity ring but can be 1/2 or full.

* Wallet for both bills and change. Made entirely out of flea market finds: curtain fabric, embroydered lace, zipper, snap closures and a piece of a placemat, inserted in the back for sturdiness.
This is one out of a series of twelve.
* Portemonnee voor papier- en kleingeld. Enkel uit rommelmarkt vondsten gemaakt: gordijnstof, geborduurd lint, rits, drukknopen en een stuk placemat, in de achterkant verwerkt voor stevigheid.
Dit is er eentje uit een serie van twaalf.
* Romy (9) is learning how to sew.
She designed this little bag, zigzagged the fabric edges, machine stitched the body of the bag, hand stitched the seems of the flap, decided it needed a button closure, made her first button hole and sew on the button.
* Romy (9) leert naaien.
Ze heeft dit tasje ontworpen, de randen van de stof gezigzagd, met de machine het tasje genaaid, met de hand de naden van het flapje genaaid, besloten dat het een knoopsluiting nodig had, haar eerste knoopsgat gemaakt en de knoop aangenaaid.

I designed this for a newly qualified helicopter pilot! The blade rotates with rubies on one side and diamonds on the other. I photographed for our bespoke brochure and website.

This design is sister to Roxanne's Lace also in my photostream. However I created this version as a project tutorial for Australian Beading magazine... and to my total delight This design was featured on the front cover of the February 2011 issue. I am thrilled.

Art Deco style emerald cut diamond engagement ring with step-down baguette diamonds set in platinum.
Central emerald cut diamond 0.84ct H colour, VS1 Clarity. Side baguette diamonds 0.12ct each

* Gehaakt lipcrèmehouder sleutelhanger, maat A (voor tubes).
kitchen Island/table. Built primarily with old growth hemlock barn siding and beams from western NY. The undercarriage was also built with Douglas Fir bleacher boards from LeMoyne College's gymnasium and yellow pine door casings salvaged ffrom a Buffalo area house. Even the figure 8s holding the top down are salvaged from an old table. The top is held together like a barn door with fasteners only.... the screws and leveler feet (and a tad bit of glue for the corners) and varnish are the only new materials. light sandings and varnish with tedious attention to detail, as barn wood is snaggy, and it is a usable and washable but rustic piece.
