Most people will tell you that unicorns don’t exist. But, as is so often the case, once you sink beneath the surface of the ocean, what you know on land no longer applies. The existing unicorn draws its name from the long protrusion on its forehead that it shares with the mythical horse-like beast. However, the similarities end at this “horn”.
I took this picture at luane's magical on aug 20, 2020. Out of the blue, I found it and spun it about in photoshop on aug 20, 2021. I had no idea of any of that until I just looked at the data on the original pic just now.
whatever all of that freakish coincidence means, I hope you believe in something that gives you joy. ♥♥♥

This unusual cloud looks very much like a Unicorn, that mythical animal typically represented as a horse with a single straight horn projecting from its forehead.
This scene is north of Wilpena pound in the Flinders Ranges of South Australia and was captured some 20 hours before a dust storm visited the area. The forecast was for a severe dust storm and the next day there were more unusual cloud formations which were swirling about as they constantly rose and fell - I had never seen anything like it before.
As my daughter was flying into Port Augusta to join me for a few days, I drove from Wilpena Pound and by the time I arrived at Port Augusta visibility was down to about four kilometres with very strong gusting wind.
There were concerns her plane might have to return to Adelaide but fortunately it landed and within 30 minutes visibility had decreased to two kilometres. It was an extremely unpleasant day - hot, windy and dusty. . . . . .Sigma 18 -200mm f3.5 -6.3 DC OS HSM

Unicorn Caterpillar, that is-- a variety of the Prominents. Hickory Canyons Natural Area in Ste Genevieve County, Missouri.
I took this photo of the unicorn while I was exploring the Wonderland 2 sim . I came across the field after I left the magical woodland .
I was out on the rock shelf at Terrigal just after dawn when the sky decided to show off — all soft pastels and quiet colour. It was one of those mornings where the sun must have got up early just to make a point.
The rockpool, not to be outdone, mirrored the sky quite nicely too.
Simple. Beautiful. With just the right amount of smug for a sunrise ;)
Fun fact: I have a bit of an affinity with hedgehogs (must be the name;) That's not the fun fact though. Up until the 15th century hedgehogs were called "urchins". Sea urchins got their name because they looked spiny hedgehogs. Therefore ... sea urchins are ocean hedgehogs! For some reason that makes me happy. Or maybe that's the nice glass of red, cheers. Happy Easter !
PS Unicorn Dust? I don't either, just seemed appropriate for that sky ;)
