A BIG Thank You to all my friends and the Flickr community as I post my 1000th public view photo on Flickr. Thank you for your 1.3 million views, helpful comments, constructive criticism, invitations to visit, hospitality and support. I commit to steady, if slow, improvement over my next thousand photos.
Anytime new insight replaces an old assumption or a fossilized perception is the spring. New understandings sprout, new tolerances appear, and new curiosity draws you to previously dark places. Just as the sun shines earlier and longer in the spring, changes that seemed impossible appear to be possible with each new insight. - Gary Zukav
Legend has it that you could use Ground-ivy to find out who was using negative magic against you: burn a yellow candle on Tuesday (why Tuesday?) and it will come true. In the Middle Ages, the plant was famous for its antispiritual effect on bewitched cows that no longer gave milk
Ground-Ivy is a perennial plant. The green leaves can be seen all year round. The flowers unfold from March to September, but alsowinter if it is not too cold. They are in the axils of the leaves and face the sun

Watching a dawn and new morning unfold is always very special, all the more so if you stand in a splendid and untouched natural environment like this piece of costline on the Lofoten islands.
Growing fern leaves have something magical and beautiful. Whenever I see some, I must take some pictures of them.. 😄

A simple band of gold
Wrapped around my soul
Hard forgiving, hard forget
Faith is in our hands
Castles made of sand
No more guessing, no regrets
Then you came my way on a winter's day
Shouted loudly come out and play
Can't you tell I got news for you
Sun is shining and so are you
And we're gonna be alright
Dry your tears and hold tight
Can't you tell I got news for you
Sun is shining and so are you
And we're gonna be alright
Dry your tears and hold tight
Can't you tell I got news for you
Sun is shining and so are you
Diamonds to behold, waiting to unfold
Bite the bullet, bite your tongue
Love beyond belief
Raid the seven seas
Come uneven, come undone
Then you came my way on a winter's day
Shouted loudly come out and play
Can't you tell I got news for you
Sun is shining and so are you
Im richtigen Licht gesehen präsentiert sich das Blümchen sozusagen von der besten Seite. Eine Augenweide auch für die Insekten, die nun bald ihren Dienst aufnehmen werden :-)
The color game starts again.
Poppies have lobed or dissected leaves, milky sap, often nodding buds on solitary stalks, and four- to six-petaled flowers with numerous stamens surrounding the ovary. The two sepals usually drop off as the petals unfold. The ovary develops into a spherical capsule topped by a disk formed by the stigmas. The many small seeds escape from pores beneath the disk when the capsule is shaken by the wind.
Just in case you didn't know already :)
