Thanks to all who take the time to view, comment on and favor my images. It is very much appreciated.
We were walking back to the car and into the sun, when this rail came up from the marsh and paused by the side of the road for a few seconds. I took 5 shots before it shot across the road and back into the marsh.
I love the adventure-you never know what's going to pop-up.

Teach me your way, LORD, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever. For great is your love toward me; you have delivered me from the depths, from the realm of the dead.

As I've mentioned before: I spent more than 4 hours in this cathedral; can you imagine, how many pictures you can take in that amount of time???
But don't worry, I won't show them all...:-))
Gloucester Cathedral, or the Cathedral Church of St Peter and the Holy and Undivided Trinity, in Gloucester, England, stands in the north of the city near the river. It originated with the foundation of an abbey dedicated to Saint Peter in 678 or 679 (dissolved by King Henry VIII of England).
Wall Contemplating...

… I think I may have captured his undivided attention for a few seconds :-) After that short lapse, he filed me in the no threat category – a perfectly reasonable judgement – and apparently stopped paying attention.
I left for a few minutes. When I came back, the same individual was still maintaining his vigil on top of the same bush. Although I was staring with my camera from a different location, closer to him than the first time around, he just cast a passing glance in my direction without a care in the world.
It may well be that the little bugger had recognised me, whereas I would have been incapable of recognising him had he not stood in the exact same location :-)

BESIDE – JON & VANGELIS
A B V for Vulture
you're so beautiful
African White-backed beauty
standing so dutiful
How I love to watch you fly
soar across the storm-swept sky
dipping down and rising high
so incredible; I want to cry
People are afraid of you
but let me plead your case
you do not claw or maim or kill
you feast on carrion; already long-dead carcass
You may be large; your wing span broad
but you are a gentle giant bird
disinterested in those who gaze at you
in awe; to disrespect you is absurd
How I long for you to look
just once to last me all my days
to meet my eyes; see an open book
to be filled with wonder; I'm so amazed
People carry on their journey
giving you just a cursory glance
but my friend and I; we both linger
life is to be savoured; a joyful dance
Hurrying and scurrying past; in the rain
your proud features begin to blur
I make a memory with one click
and still you do not stir
Within me my heart beats fast and hard
excited by your omnipresence
oh, if only you would turn to me
grace me with your undivided presence
At last I force myself to leave
at last you take to flight
but alas, I lack the photographic skills
to capture your essence in beautiful flight
You are from the old world
and I am of the new
you are critically endangered
please do not worry;
we will try our best to save you.

Enjoy a very happy weekend, dear friends <3
A line-up of paws! Moving her head like this meant she had just woken up & wanted my undivided attention.
Happy Caturday.

The city of Ely sits in the Cambridgeshire Fens on a 23 square mile Kimmeridge Clay island which, at 85 feet above sea level and is the highest land in the Fens.
The city and surrounding area is dominated by Ely Cathedral. The present building dates back to 1083 and is built of Limestone which was brought by barge from Barnack quarry near Peterborough. Cathedral status was granted and the diocese of Ely was created in 1109 out of part of the Diocese of Lincoln.
It is known locally as "the ship of the Fens", because of its prominent position above the surrounding flat landscape.
The central octagonal tower, with its vast internal open space and its pinnacles and lantern above, forms the most distinctive and celebrated feature of the cathedral, this was built shortly after the original central stone tower collpased in February 1322.
We are each unique, yet part of a whole: separate, yet undivided.
We are each nodes of the same entity, searching, seeking..
Three-toed, small-billed, golden-backed woodpecker found primarily in wet tropical forests in two disjunct regions, the Western Ghats in India and Southeast Asia. Separated from Greater Flameback by a much smaller bill, a black nape, and a black undivided horizontal stripe below the cheek. Separated from Black-rumped Flameback by a red rump and a white throat. This species is a regular participant in mixed-species foraging flocks, often detected by its loud, high-pitched trill similar to that of Greater Flameback. Best told from the nearly identical Himalayan Flameback by voice. (eBird)

Seen or heard most days, this was definitely the best look at this beautifully coloured woodpecker. This female was taking a break from looking for grubs in this gnarly old branch.

A species of small bullfrogs has been in abundance on my North Carolina property this summer. While similar in appearance, they all have distinct personalities.
Some will shriek and swim away when I get near the water but a few will stay put or even swim toward me. I talk to them in a soft musical voice while making eye contact. Though not understanding language, these frogs respond to intent embodied within tonalities and are comfortable being photographed at close range and sometimes seem to enjoy it. I sense they comprehend at some level that they are being appreciated and have my undivided attention.
On the occasion captured in this photo, a frog who always sought my company swam quickly away as I approached the water, which surprised me. Suddenly it pivoted, mounted a bed of algae and quickly bounded back in my direction, stopping 18 inches away and assuming this pose.
Simple creatures have far more awareness than science acknowledges. The secret is knowing how to connect with it.
Up to mischief - Bella couldn't decide whether to hide under the table or chase after her toys. She was just happy to have my undivided attention. Happy Caturday!

Like us....you've got our undivided attention....we are all ears.
Saw these spring deer while out mending fence. The horses alerted me or else I might not have noticed for they are the same colour as old grass right now. I'm sure there are 20 titles for this, I like "be a good listener" because many don't know how to listen ;-)

Henry Moore's Large Reclining Figure (1984); Perry Green, Much Hadham, Hertfordshire (the place where the sculptor lived and had his studio). There is plenty of information on Henry Moore and this sculpture too. I just want to restrict myself to giving an account of my inner landscape when approaching this sculpture and the topography around it. Using a short lens (Leica M8 plus Voigtlaender 35/1.4) I have to walk a long way towards the monument. I can see the figure of a reclining person (a woman) from far away. Through the pastures where the sheep are grazing. As if art and nature were undivided. As if approaching a sanctuary with animals under divine protection. There is an aura of sacredness, and I am perplexed whether the figure on the mount has a religious quality. Am I on a pilgrimage? The figure can't be "explained", it is impervious to my analysis. But this bronze figure cuts straight into my emotional underbelly, and makes me forget for a moment the clutter of institutional normality. An encounter. A conversation that was all the time within me, but me not listening.

I was amused at this show as the male seemed to be saying I can go as high as you want just to win your favor. The time of courting is awesome to see and it shows how hard the male tries to get her undivided attention. Sweet love story !!
Wishing each and everyone a blessed day !!!

Norwich Cathedral was founded by the first Bishop of Norwich, Herbert de Losinga. He acquired and cleared land in the centre of the city for the new Cathedral and adjacent Priory complex. The cathedral was begun in 1096 and constructed out of flint and mortar and faced with a cream-coloured Caen limestone.
Norwich Cathedral is the most complete Norman Cathedral in the UK and boasts a wealth of Romanesque features with later Gothic additions to create one of the most atmospheric sacred spaces in Europe.
After Salisbury Cathedral in Wiltshire, Norwich Cathedral has the second tallest spire at 315ft and the second largest complete cloisters in the country.
Ely, Cambridgeshire
Ely Cathedral, formally the Cathedral Church of the Holy and Undivided Trinity, is an Anglican cathedral in the city of Ely, Cambridgeshire, England.
The cathedral has its origins in AD 672 when St Etheldreda built Ely Abbey. The present building dates back to 1083, and it was granted cathedral status in 1109. Until the Reformation it was the Church of St Etheldreda and St Peter, at which point it was refounded as the Cathedral Church of the Holy and Undivided Trinity of Ely, continuing as the principal church of the Diocese of Ely, in Cambridgeshire. It is the seat of the Bishop of Ely and a suffragan bishop, the Bishop of Huntingdon.
Architecturally, Ely Cathedral is outstanding both for its scale and stylistic details. Having been built in a monumental Romanesque style, the galilee porch, lady chapel and choir were rebuilt in an exuberant Decorated Gothic. Its most notable feature is the central octagonal tower, with lantern above, which provides a unique internal space and, along with the West Tower, dominates the surrounding landscape.
The cathedral is a major tourist destination, receiving around 250,000 visitors per year, and sustains a daily pattern of morning and evening services. [Wkipedia]

How to define man/woman? We are unquestionably part of nature, and yet do not coincide with it. Are we dealing with two natures that are paradoxically unmixed and undivided?

I have no idea what they were talking about, but the young man is hanging off every word his friend is saying.
