The Japanese Maple is one of Linus' preferred hiding spots. Every single one of the lower leaves bears his marks as he tends to play with them when he is bored while waiting for THE BIRDS.
I present to you the underside of the Pitt River Bridge.
It's common to drive over, but not too many people have the opportunity to pass under and view the flip side.
Steel girders and concrete seem to be the foundation to this Cable-Stayed Bridge that was built in 2009

short story:
The dimly-lit warehouse was cluttered with haphazardly placed boxes and equipment. As a cyber agent, my mission was to infiltrate the enemy's secret base, but it wouldn't be easy. The enemy had tight security, and conventional infiltration methods were likely to be discovered. That's why I chose the warehouse as my entry point.
I carefully made my way through the clutter, keeping a watchful eye on my surroundings as I headed deeper into the warehouse. Eventually, I arrived at a door that led to what I believed to be the enemy's secret base.
After deciphering the password, I opened the door to find a swarm of enemy soldiers. I hesitated for a moment, but then gathered my resolve and proceeded with caution.
Since I was alone, I had to eliminate each soldier one by one. The enemy soldiers were highly skilled and formidable opponents, but I managed to outmaneuver them and make my way deeper into the secret base.
Finally, I came face to face with the enemy leader. He drew his weapon and attacked me on sight, but I quickly reacted and took him down.
After completing the mission, I made it back safely. This solo infiltration mission tested and honed my skills, and I knew that I could apply what I learned to future missions.
I pulled back on my zoom to get her underneath this umbrella of space inside this bush. She had moved slightly forward towards the sidelight and started preening for a long time. She gave a quick glance here before she started.
Sethi was grumpy because I found him although he had thought that he was perfectly hidden. The life of a hunter isn't easy if the paparazzi constantly ruin your cover ...

I never get tired tired of photographing birds during their preeing rituals. Some birds do it in a particularly fascinating way. One of them is the Black Swan.

This pretty much abandoned north central farm is slowly being buried by overgrowth. It is along a busy highway, so perhaps it is trying to hide its increasingly dilipidated condition....
These marigolds were planted in a tomato garden, where they are natural deterrents to white flies. A bright spot of color under the ripening tomatoes and their much taller vines, they seemed a secret, undercover world. Part of a memorial garden to a retired social worker at the Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, NY -- August 8, 2021

Since I was a boy, this has been the place where I have traveled the most km with narrow skis. I passed through here with my friends to go to Zurich to see a Queen concert and it has since become our favorite place in winter for skiing.Pure joy.
