The statue called 'Unconditional Surrender' is on the other side of the harbor from where we stayed. It was made after the famous photo that was taken in Times Square on V-J Day in 1945.As you can see it is HUGE! I have better photos of it, without people, with a better background of the ship "Midway' in the harbor, but decided this one was the one to post. Check out where that little boy is looking! hehe!
My son Musa, wonders how anyone could love him so unreservedly when he gazes at his mother's radiant face and her smile.

This Krampus punishes his victims by following them around,
usually holding a wilted flower and having a sad look on his face,
appearing at important family gatherings or business meetings, and
embarrassing them in front of as many people as possible.
He does this by professing his undying love for them
while announcing with a loud booming voice, intimate details about their
role-playing sex games like "prisoner and the warden's wife".
His victims include corrupt politicians, door to door proselytizers,
overzealous tax collectors, and other people who burden the public
with their unrealistic sense of entitlement.

A girlfriend asked me over to make pictures of her newborn. The only thing was that the shoot must be done at her's place and the light is there so not good but you have to work with it and make te best of it. This picture I find interesting because it sets you thinking. In this picture I see life, love, time, care and dependence. When you get kids you start thinking about time and how fast it goes by. You start thinking about your life and if there's something you want to change or what you want to do. You learn also what it means to love someone unconditionally.

Too early? Wishful thinking? Probably, but as a Brazilian I have an unconditional love for our national sport, the World cup and our “fabulous” national team (Seleção Brasileira), especially when the biggest spectacle on earth is held in our home turf, beautiful Brazil, after a long 64 years!

For those not familiar with the World Cup, every star on the national team jersey means a World Cup title. Brazil is the only that has five championships (hence the five stars). I am hopeful we’ll add another one after July 13th (World Cup Final date!), thus my "working-in-progress start" concept above!

so, this is what it feels to be proud of wearing something as beautiful as this.. so much love for Valencia C.F ... so much love for the history in this club..
so much love for everything that deals with this club.. and this is REALLY when you can't put it in words or sentences.. nothing can describe when half of my age was spent cheering for this team.. screaming at the T.V, cursing the players and the management and Juan Bautista ( the Penguin ) Soler *sometimes spitting, im sorry*.. but still,, though my team is not as big as the money makers in football.. this love is unconditional, no limits, no cases that this love is gonna change or fade away.. im coming in April for the Old Mestalla.. God's willing im gonna make it..

This impressive statue entitled "Unconditional Surrender" by J. Seward Johnson is based on a famous Life magazine photo taken in Times Square in New York City on the day the second world war ended. It has been on temporary display in San Diego for the last five years and will soon be removed. It seems a shame because it looks perfectly located at the harbor's edge right next to the USS Midway aircraft carrier.

It has been a while since the last time I shared photos of the beautiful dogs that I have met during my walks, and the truth is that for a moment there have been no more walks and I lost that spark, so many things have happened lately that have changed my life, it have been very difficult times... but here I am again, with this mission, to share the most beautiful images of these little angels that regardless of our situation always give us the best of them, and that with just their simple company make our world a better place. Thanks to them for their unconditional love.
This beautiful dog is Moisy, 7 years old, and I met him in a cafeteria while he was accompanying very patiently his human friend on a date with friends. I was fascinated by her beautiful eyes and the interesting features he has on his face.
The 25ft tall statue is of the famous photograph taken by Alfred Eisenstaedt during the VJ Day celebrations in Times Square in 1945. Located next to the USS Midway Museum in downtown San Diego the statue is quite popular with couples striking the same pose and having their picture taken next to the huge fiqures. The official name of the 6,000-pound sculpture is “Unconditional Surrender” however most people just call it the kiss statue. The work of art was dedicated on February 11, 2007 and has been turning heads ever since.
