Artist Statement:

Some wounds don’t take...they transform.

This piece captures the instant after external judgment has been internalized not as shame, but as momentum. The Lamb doesn’t wear the red with regret. He wears it like a crown.

The mark on the mask, for me, represents the moment when a label becomes a weapon, and a victim becomes sovereign. He’s not walking away. He’s walking forward—toward you.

Artist Statement:

This work began as an image of submersion, but quickly morphed into something deeper confession, pleasure, reformation. The face rises into water like it’s meeting its mirror: vulnerable, raw, and unflinching. I wanted to capture the moment where isolation meets exhibition when we are both seen and transformed by the medium around us. There is no shame in the intimacy here, only a glossy holiness. This is not drowning it’s emergence. It’s not asking to be looked at. It commands it.
