2nd round for Christmas, at least I've receive the US Ultimate Edition, more impressive than the French (bigger prints, a Spinner, a plastic unicorn, a kind of 3d frame of Rick, and of course the Voight-Kampff wallet.
This is a short video scrrencast of my "rotating cylinder" desktops in Ultimate Edition 2.9 Linux. Version 2.9 is based on Ubuntu V 10.04. As you may know, in Linux you can have more than one desktop. Here I have four. If I had six, the cylinder would have a top and bottom. Much of the flickering is caused by the "screencast program" I used! With the use of a program called Compiz Fusion, which is pre-installed in Ultimate Edition 2.9, you can get many special effects. To get the cylinder, after set-up, push and hold Ctrl-Alt-left mouse button drag it like you would a window. The little puff of red when I closed the program is another Compiz effect, burning windows! Unfortunately, many of these effects no longer work in the latest version of Ubuntu with Gnome desktop. I don't know about KDE desktop. So, it's a lot of fun and a good diversion! Also on the screen is a "Conky" to monitor the system and a AWN dock on the bottom. I love "eye candy"!.
Had opportunity to spend some time in the new 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.0L AWD Turbo Ultimate Edition. Awarded Family car of the year by Cars.com, I can see why. This is the smaller of the two models. The Sport which seats 5 and the bigger one that seats 6-7. Only difference is in the rear quarter panel where the vehicle is slightly bigger.
I had such great time with this vehicle from all levels.

Comme je me suis offert le coffret de Sucker Punch, j’ai profité de la petite carte cadeaux inclus pour me ruer à la Fnac du coin récupérer le très beau steelbook même si encore une fois on a droit à un boitier format dvd. Du côté de l’image c’est du très lourd de quoi en prendre plein les mirettes, part contre une fois de plus il n’y a pas de piste son HD en français! Mais là où je suis le plus déçus c’est qu’il n’y a aucun making-off du film et très peu de bonus puisque seul 4 petits courts métrage (de 2min) en dessin animé sur les différents univers qui ont inspiré Snyder pour le film son présent. Pourtant, avec 4 disques dans la boite ils ne vont pas me faire croire qu’ils n’avaient plus de place pour inclure un making-off d’une heure et plus de bonus! Tout n’est pas noir pour autant puisque le mode bonus view laisse le réalisateur intervenir durant le film en l’arrêtant par un joli effet visuel et explique les scènes, les trucages, même si personnellement j’ai horreur quand on coupe le film je compte bien voir ça en entier parce que cela semble quand même très intéressant. A noté aussi que la version longue est disponible uniquement en anglais sous-titré! Malgré tout je me suis vraiment bien régaler devant la version longue en VO qui envoie du très lourd que ce soit du côté de l’image ou du son!
