Der Goblin Valley State Park ist ein Staatspark im Südosten Utahs in der Nähe von Hanksville an der Utah State Route 24. Der Park wurde am 24. August 1964 gegründet und hat eine Fläche von 12,2 km².
Erosion insbesondere durch Wind und Wasser haben im Laufe von Millionen Jahren aus dem Sandstein des Tales Figuren geformt, welche an Pilze oder Kobolde erinnern – daher der Name Goblin Valley, Koboldtal.

Das Monument Valley (Navajo) ist eine Ebene auf dem Colorado-Plateau an der südlichen Grenze des US-Bundesstaates Utah sowie im Norden Arizonas und liegt innerhalb der Navajo-Nation-Reservation in der Nähe der Ortschaft Mexican Hat in Utah, wird von den Navajo verwaltet und ist daher kein staatliches Schutzgebiet wie das nahegelegene Navajo National Monument. Es ist bekannt für seine Tafelberge und diente bereits vielfach als Kulisse für Dreharbeiten.

Monument Valley (Navajo) is a plain on the Colorado Plateau on the southern border of the U.S. state of Utah and in northern Arizona, in the Navajo Nation Reservation near the village of Mexican Hat in Utah, administered by the Navajo and therefore no state protected area such as the nearby Navajo National Monument. It is known for its table mountains and often served as a backdrop for filming.

"Wire Pass is 2.7 Km (1.7 miles) long of which about 800 Meters (half a mile) is through a slot canyon, parts of which are less than 90 cm (3 feet) wide; narrower than Buckskin although not nearly as deep. Because of this, the sun illuminates the curving sandstone walls more extensively, sometimes reaching all the way to the floor and often producing nice reflected effects."

Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park UTAH
El Monument Valley (valle de los Monumentos) es una gran depresión situada en la frontera sur de Utah con Arizona, en los Estados Unidos. El valle está dentro de la reserva de los nativos navajo, cerca de la ciudad de Goulding y es accesible por la U.S. Route 163. El nombre navajo para el valle es Tsé Bii' Ndzisgaii (‘valle de las Rocas’).
El valle es famoso por sus curiosas formaciones de mesas y ha sido escenario de numerosas películas.
