Matt Bevin [R], who promised to dismantle it, was elected governor after Beshear's two terms were up in 2016. Governor Bevin dismantled the state's KyNect. In November of 2016, Kentuckians overwhelmingly voted for President Donald Trump [R], who promised to dismantle the federal Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare).

Today I turned 72 years of age. At this very moment I live in the greatest country that has ever existed in recorded history. This is about to radically change. Even though we have the best health care system in the world and 82% of the citizens are happy with the coverage they have , Obama and the Democrats are demanding we change it...Why ? The answer is simple, they want absolute power and control over our lives. This man Obama is an arrogant elitist Socialist. Along with Democrat leadership in the Senate and House(Pelosi and Reed) they are attempting to destroy and then ration health care. The needed and common sense changes that would improve the system are being totally ignored. They want Socialized Medicine.

I am one of the lucky ones. At 72... I take no medicines, have no heart problems, no diabetes,no high blood pressure and no mobility problems. My wife is almost as lucky and only takes one medication.

However, not long ago a routine visit to the family physician revealed that I had developed a melanoma cancer. Quick diagnosis and surgery turned a life threatening problem around.....with Obama's health plan I would now be dead .
