Crossing the border into USA The United States of America from Canada across Thousand Islands Bridge
The Thousand Islands Bridge international bridge over the Saint Lawrence River connecting northern New York in the United States with southeastern Ontario in Canada. Constructed in 1937, the bridges span the United States-Canada border in the middle of the Thousand Islands region, from which it derives its name. The bridges all carry two lanes of traffic (one in each direction) and pedestrian sidewalks, and is administered by the Thousand Islands Bridge Authority, an international agency.

A live feed of traffic to the border is one of the favorite stations in Mexicali and Tijuana. Lucy even uses a special mobile service reporting on the number of cars per row. 350 cars is a quiet afternoon. Waiting regularly takes between 45 and 120 minutes.
This was absolutely ridiculous, it took 5 minutes to get into Canada, and 5 hours to get back to the US. STUPID! STUPID! STUPID!
