KLFI (Joint Base Langley-Eustis / Langley AFB) - 24 APR 2016
The Thunderbirds show is on here at Air Power Over Hampton Roads 2016. The maintainers have finished their initial show and the Thunderbirds are taxiing to RWY 8 to begin their flight demonstration routine.
This is Lt Col Chris Hammond, Commander/Leader of the team in #1 flashing signs to the crowd.
I've built cars at 1/22 (like my movie vehicles) and at roughly 1/43 (minifig scale). Since these have to fit with my aircraft, they're scaled to 1/36, which is a novelty for me.
The last of 3 USAF MC-130J Commando Hercules landing at RAAF base Richmond, Sydney, from Amberley after the crews had done 14 days quarantine at Amberley before taking part in Exercise Teak with the RAAF 37 Squadron C-130J Hercules. MC-130J 05714 taxis back towards the base.

The USAF Lockheed Martin F-22A Raptor (06-4108 / AK), c/n: 4108, from the 3rd Wing, 525th Fighter "Bulldog" Squadron based at Elmendorf AFB, Alaska, USA, on short finals as it lands at RAF Fairford's runway 27 during the 2010 RIAT. The two Raptors at the 2010 RIAT were flown by "Air Combat Command F-22 Demonstration Team", based at Langley AFB, VA, USA.

The EC-130J Commando Solo, a specially-modified C-130J Hercules conducts Military Information Support Operations (MISO) and civil affairs broadcasts in FM radio, television and military communications bands. These missions are typically flown at night to reduce probability of detection in politically sensitive or hostile territories.
