NCOs of Class 508-19 graduated as Drill Sergeants from the United States Drill Sergeant Academy at the Fort Jackson Post Theatre, September 25, 2019. After 9 weeks of strenuous training and studying these Drill Sergeants are now experts in shaping civilians into Soldiers and are ready to begin new chapters in their Army careers.

Class 017-19 2th Platoon, Bravo company drill sergeant candidates attending the U.S. Army Drill Sergeant Academy conducted training on Victory Tower Oct 17, at Fort Jackson. Candidates completed the rope swing, rappelling towers, and rope bridges during the event with the help of USADSA drill sergeant leadership. Candidates were able to practice their leadership skills and teamwork throughout the training.

5th Platoon, class 017-18 Drill Sergeant Leaders train and test the drill sergeant candidates on their knowledge of modules at the USADSA PT field, Aug 23. Drill Sergeant candidates must be able to pitch and demonstrate modules, the DSLs complete a workbook and forms after every testing event. This helps DSLs track the progress of the candidates.

Class 017-18 5th Platoon, drill sergeant candidates attending the U.S. Army Drill Sergeant Academy react to direct fire and conducted move and shoot, bounding, and react to contact drills at MOUT East/West Sept 12, Fort Jackson. The teams not only focused on bounding techniques, but also team cohesion and communication.

101 graduates of the #USADSA, 6PLT Charlie Company were celebrated during ceremony 17 APR 2019 at the Fort Jackson post theatre amongst family, friends and peers.

The U.S. Army Drill Sergeant Academy hosted a debelting badging, and awards ceremony 26 Apr 219. Soldiers were celebrated amongst friends, family and USADSA full time staff and cadre.

Drill Sergeant candidates assigned 2nd platoon, Company B exit a CS-gas filled chamber while conducting chemical defense training February 13, 2019 on Fort Jackson. The training taught candidates how to properly fit their protective mask to their face, ensure a proper seal was achieved and build their confidence in its ability to protect them from airborne hazards.

The U.S. States Army Drill Sergeant Academy hosted a belting ceremony welcoming 3 new Drill Sergeant Leaders to the Academy ranks February 13, 2019. These DSLs now join the Academy in its mission to teach NCOs how to train the world's finest Soldiers.
