l’alba scolpisce il vento
sulla terra antica.
Ricordo il momento in cui, arrivato lì al buio, aspettavo con trepidazione la luce dell'alba. Avevo letto molto dello Zabriskie point, nella Death Valley.
Ed era lì, davanti a me, dopo averlo immaginato tanto e sognato ancora di più
Zabriskie Point, affacciato sulle antiche badlands della Death Valley, un paesaggio di creste dorate e forme scolpite dall’erosione millenaria.
All’alba, la luce radente trasforma queste colline in un mare di oro e rosa, mentre il vento porta con sé il respiro di un tempo geologico remoto. Reso celebre anche dal film di Antonioni, rimane un luogo sospeso, quasi extraterrestre, dove storia, luce e silenzio si incontrano e l'uomo si sente dolcemente solo.
