Looking down to the American Soil, reminds me how beautiful and diverse this country is. And how divided the people are, America could do so much better.

Big Thunder Mountain.

Some time in the late 1800s, gold was discovered on Big Thunder Mountain in the American Southwest. Overnight, the small mining town of Tumbleweed became a thriving mining town. Mining was prosperous, and an extensive line of mine trains was set up to transport the ore. Unknown to the settlers, the Mountain was a sacred spot to local Native Americans and was cursed.

Before long, the settlers' desecration of the mountain caused a great tragedy, a flash flood, which befell the mines and town, and the town was abandoned. Some time later, the locomotives were found to be racing around the mountain on their own, without engineers or a crew. The Big Thunder Mountain Railroad was founded in the old mining camp to allow tourists to take rides on the possessed trains.

In keeping with the theme, the station buildings are designed to look as though they are the abandoned offices of a mining company from the mid to late 19th century. The rockwork designs are based on the rising buttes that are located in Utah and Arizona's Monument Valley. Special care was taken by the Imagineers to make it appear that the rocks were there originally, and the track was built around the rocks, unlike a number of earlier mine rides, which were built the other way around (by sculpting the rocks around the tracks). The action of the ride takes place completely in the sagging, rotting tunnels of the mountain. In contrast to most steel roller coasters, where the thrills come from the perception of flying through open air, the thrills on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad are meant to come from the perceived instability of the mine and its threats of collapse.

Asia, the first expansion area added to Disney's Animal Kingdom, first opened in 1999. This area is set in the fictional kingdom of Anandapur (which means "Place of many delights" in Sanskrit). Anandapur evokes the traits of Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Mongolia, Nepal, and Thailand. According to Disney history, Anandapur was established as a royal hunting preserve in 1544. Anandapur contains both the riverside village of Anandapur, and Serka Zong, which is set in the foothills of the Himalayas.

Portraits of Anandapur's royal family (consisting of the maharaja and his wife) can be found in most of the businesses within the two villages, a map of the kingdom featuring both villages and their location relative to the mountains and river can be found on the wall of the Disney Vacation Club kiosk located there. Much like Harambe, Anandapur is now a center of animal research and tourism.

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.

Rod Serling's voice greets passengers the moment the elevator doors close, saying:

You are the passengers on a most uncommon elevator about to ascend into your very own episode of The Twilight Zone.

The elevator rises for a few seconds before coming to its first stop. The doors open to reveal a long, dimly-lit hotel corridor, with overgrown plants and doors to guest rooms running the length, accompanied by morning newspapers and room service trays. A single window is at the opposite end of the corridor. A violent thunderstorm is raging and lightning flashes outside the window. The ghosts of the five killed passengers from 1939 appear for several moments, turning to face the elevator and beckoning the guests to join them. These images are created using a Pepper's ghost effect. Then they disappear in a burst of electricity. The corridor fades away, but the window remains until it appears to be floating in a dark field of stars. The window morphs into the window from Season 5 opening and break, like in the opening sequence of the television series.

The elevator doors close and the car continues its ascent. Serling's voice continues, saying:

One stormy night long ago, five people stepped through the door of an elevator and into a nightmare. That door is opening once again, and this time, it's opening for you.

The elevator stops once more. The doors open to what at first looks like a maintenance room, but slowly transforms into a field of stars. The elevator car emerges horizontally from the lift shaft and enters a section of the ride called The Fifth Dimension, which is a bizarre collection of sights and sounds and starfields, again in the style of the television show's opening sequence. A rendition of The Twilight Zone opening sequence plays throughout. The scene ends as the elevator reaches another star field which splits and opens much like elevator doors. The elevator enters another vertical shaft, this one pitch black. Serling's voice is heard again, saying:

You are about to discover what lies beyond the fifth dimension, beyond the deepest, darkest corner of the imagination, in the Tower of Terror. On the last word of Serling's narration, the elevator starts its drop sequence.

The names of 2,983 victims are inscribed on 76 bronze plates attached to the parapet walls that form the edges of the Memorial pools. This includes the names of 2,977 victims who were killed in the September 11 attacks in New York City, Arlington, Virginia, and Pennsylvania, as well as the names of six victims who were killed in the February 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

The names are arranged according to a process and algorithm which was used to create "meaningful adjacencies," based on "relationship" details which include proximity at the time of the attacks, company or organization affiliations for those who worked at the World Trade Center or Pentagon, and approximately 1,200 requests from family members.

As a result of this process, the names of the victims who were in the North Tower (WTC 1), passengers or crew of American Airlines Flight 11 (which hit the North Tower) and victims of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing are located around the perimeter of the North Pool. The names of the victims who were in the South Tower (WTC 2), passengers or crew of United Airlines Flight 175 (which hit the South Tower), victims who were in the immediate vicinity of the Twin Towers, first responders who died during rescue operations, passengers or crew of United Airlines Flight 93 (which crashed near Shanksville, Pennsylvania) and American Airlines Flight 77 (which hit the Pentagon), and the victims who were at the Pentagon are located around the perimeter of the South Pool.

Before opening to the public, 9/11 Memorial Museum staff places a white rose at the name of each victim who has a birthday that day.

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.

Inside the doors, the Hollywood Tower Hotel lobby appears frozen in time, everything in it draped in decades' worth of dust and decay. Several suitcases abandoned near the front desk, a long-extinguished fireplace and a cobwebbed owl sculpture surrounded by a circle of dead flowers acting as the centerpiece of the lobby.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is a 335-acre African-themed animal theme park located in Tampa. Owned and operated by SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, the park has an annual attendance consistently exceeding 4 million, often ranking second among SeaWorld parks behind SeaWorld Orlando. The park has featured conspicuous roller coasters with thrill rides over the years, including a Dive Coaster named SheiKra, a launch coaster called Tigris, and Montu, the tallest and fastest inverted roller coaster in the world when it opened.

It has as areas: Morocco, Sesame Street Safari of Fun, Stanleyville, Congo, Jungala, Pantopia, Nairobi, Edge of Africa and Egypt.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade.

Hogwarts Castle exterior of Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey.

Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey is a new attraction inside the replica of Hogwarts Castle, simulating a tour of the castle and its surrounding grounds. It uses KUKA robocoaster technology, which allows the seats to pivot while being held above the track by a robotic arm. However, the ride is not a roller coaster but a scenic dark ride. The experience includes a flight around Hogwarts castle, an encounter with the Whomping Willow and a horde of Dementors, and a Quidditch match. The ride drops, spins around, twists and turns, but does not turn upside down, though passengers sometimes lie flat on their backs. Over-the-shoulder bars are used to secure guests in their seats, and a single parabolic metal bar is used as a hand grip.

The Seas with Nemo & Friends.

Three Audio-Animatronic seagulls were added to the entrance, which occasionally squawk "Mine! Mine! Mine!", just like the seagulls do in Finding Nemo.

The Seas with Nemo & Friends (formerly The Living Seas) is a saltwater aquarium and a dark ride. The attraction is themed as an underwater exploration base, with several exhibits devoted to oceanic study.

In December 2003, Disney began to re-theme The Living Seas into a new pavilion based on the recently released Pixar film Finding Nemo. The majority of the transformation began with exterior elements, but in January 2004, the interior began to change as well.

Adventureland.

Adventureland represents the mystery of exploring foreign lands. It is themed to resemble the remote jungles in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, South America and the South Pacific, with an extension resembling a Caribbean town square. It contains classic attractions such as Pirates of the Caribbean, the Jungle Cruise, Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room, the Swiss Family Treehouse, and The Magic Carpets of Aladdin.

Happily Ever After is a fireworks and projection mapping show which debuted at the Magic Kingdom on May 12, 2017. Unlike its predecessor, Wishes: A Magical Gathering of Disney Dreams, the show includes projection mapping across Cinderella Castle, lasers, and searchlights, in addition to pyrotechnics. The show includes characters and music from a wide array of Disney films.

Cinderella Castle was completed in July 1971, after about 18 months of construction. The castle is 58 m tall, as measured from the concrete bottom of the body of water, which itself is 1.8 m deep at the bridge. An optical trick known as forced perspective makes the castle appear even larger than it actually is. As it becomes taller, its proportions get smaller. For example, using this method, the top spire of the palace is actually close to half of its apparent size. Major elements of the palace were scaled and angled to give the illusion of distance and height, a method frequently used in Disney theme parks around the world.

Egypt.

Cobra's Curse is a steel spinning roller coaster. Cobra's Curse features a 24 m snake statue that depicts King Venymyss, which is located in front of the elevator lift hill. The trains of the roller coaster are able to lock and rotate in three stages; the trains face forward, backward, and then turn in to a free spin. The roller coaster received mostly positive reviews from critics. The roller coaster has a track length of 640 m, reaches a height of 21 m, and has a maximum speed of 64 km/h.

Disney Springs (previously known as Lake Buena Vista Shopping Village in 1975, Walt Disney World Village in 1977, Disney Village Marketplace in 1989, and Downtown Disney in 1997) is an outdoor shopping, dining, and entertainment complex. The complex opened on March 22, 1975, and has been expanded and renamed over the years. In 2013, plans were announced for a three-year renovation and expansion of the complex, and on September 29, 2015, the name officially changed to Disney Springs.

Pennsylvania Station, also known as New York Penn Station or just Penn Station, is a major intercity train station and a major commuter rail hub in New York City, serving 430,000 passengers a day.

The station is located in the underground levels of Pennsylvania Plaza. It is located underneath Madison Square Garden.

Madison Square Garden is a multi-purpose indoor arena situated atop Pennsylvania Station. It is the fourth venue to bear the name, the first two of which were located on Madison Square.

The Garden is used for professional basketball and ice hockey, as well as boxing, concerts, ice shows, circuses, and other forms of sports and entertainment.

Opening on February 11, 1968, it is now considered to be the oldest, and most active major sporting facility in New York. Madison Square Garden is the third-busiest music arena in the world in terms of ticket sales (behind the Manchester Arena and The O2 Arena, both in England).

New York.

The eight surrounding themed areas, clockwise from the entrance, are Production Central, New York, San Francisco, Wizargind World of Harry Potter - Diagon Alley, World Expo, Springfield, Woody Woodpecker's Kidzone and Hollywood. Each area features a combination of rides, shows, attractions, character appearances, dining outlets and merchandise stores.

The Haunted Mansion.

The Haunted Mansion is a haunted house dark ride featuring a ride-through tour in Omnimover vehicles called "Doom Buggies," preceded by a walk-through show in the queue. The attraction utilizes a range of technology, from centuries-old theatrical effects to modern special effects and spectral Audio-Animatronics.

Its exterior was given a Dutch Gothic Revival style based on older northeastern mansions, particularly those in areas of Pennsylvania and in the Hudson River Valley region of New York. The mansion is surrounded by large oak trees adorned with Spanish moss, red maples and pines, all of which are native to Florida.

Universal Studios Florida opened on June 7, 1990. The park's theme is the entertainment industry, in particular movies and television. The park encourages its guests to "ride the movies" and features numerous attractions and live shows. It is a component of the larger Universal Orlando Resort. The park hosted an estimated 10.2 million visitors in 2017, ranking it as the sixth most attended theme park in the United States and the ninth most attended theme park worldwide.

Disney's Hollywood Studios is divided into seven themed areas inspired by fantasized iterations of either existing locations found in Hollywood and Los Angeles or imagined worlds from Hollywood stories. They are Hollywood Boulevard, Echo Lake, Grand Avenue, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, Toy Story Land, Animation Courtyard and Sunset Boulevard. The park's original layout featured a large Hidden Mickey, which was visible in aerial photographs of the park and on the park's early guide maps, though construction and other park changes have eliminated much of this image.

Cinderella Castle.

Inside the upper levels of Cinderella Castle, there is a suite that was intended to be an apartment for Walt Disney and his family when they were in Florida. After Walt died in 1966, the apartment was left unfinished. This space is not large, and can be compared to the size of a master bedroom and bathroom in an average house. The location of the suite can be identified from the outside by locating the stained glass windows with pictures in the center on the north and west sides of the castle, about 2/3 of the way up. The glass used contains many small, multi-faceted pieces, which slightly obscures the view of the park from inside the suite. The suite adjoins a sizable exterior balcony on the east side.

It was announced by Disney that the suite would be completely decorated and upholstered as a 'royal bedchamber', which can sleep up to six people. It has become available as a prize during the Year of a Million Dreams celebration, and an overnight stay in the apartment will be a prize randomly awarded to a guest at the four Walt Disney World theme parks and Downtown Disney.

Sunset Boulevard.

Sunset Boulevard was the first expansion to Disney's Hollywood Studios, opening in July 1994. The visual focal point of Sunset Boulevard is The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, a thrill ride based on the classic television series.

Rivers of Light: We Are One.

Marvel Super Hero Island.

The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man.

It is a hybrid ride combining special roving motion vehicles with 3D projection, elaborate physical sets, and both practical and tactile effects. The queue goes through the Daily Bugle building.

Disney's Hollywood Studios (originally Disney-MGM Studios until 2008), is the third of four theme parks built at the Walt Disney World Resort. It is dedicated to show business, drawing inspiration from the heyday of Hollywood in the 1930s and 1940s. It is the fifth-most visited amusement park in the United States, and eighth-most visited in the world.

The park's icon was originally the Earffel Tower from the park's opening until 2001 when the Sorcerer's Hat—a stylized version of the magical hat from Fantasia—was erected in the park's central hub. It then served as the park's icon until its removal in January 2015.

Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway is a trackless dark ride. The attraction is the first ride-through attraction at a Disney theme park to be themed to Mickey Mouse. It is based on the stylized world from the character's 2013 animated television series.

Happily Ever After.

"...And they all lived happily ever after.

Each of us has a dream, a heart’s desire. It calls to us. And when we’re brave enough to listen, and bold enough to pursue, that dream will lead us on a journey to discover who we’re meant to be.

All we have to do is look inside our hearts and unlock the magic within..."

A keyhole appears on Cinderella Castle. Magical pixie dust flows through the keyhole and covers the castle and surrounding turrets in royal red and gold as the Happily Ever After theme song plays. Searchlights, lasers (from and towards the castle), and eventually fireworks come into play.

Main Street, U.S.A.

Symbolically, Main Street, U.S.A. represents the park's "opening credits," where guests pass under the train station (the opening curtain).

In the distance beyond the end of Main Street stands Cinderella Castle. Though only 189 feet (55m) tall, it benefits from a technique known as forced perspective. The second stories of all the buildings along Main Street are shorter than the first stories, and the third stories are even shorter than the second, and the top windows of the castle are much smaller than they appear. The resulting visual effect is that the buildings appear to be larger and taller than they really are.
