Uriel ( The Fire of God ). The piece makes great use of the "smudge" tool - something I haven't done in quite a few years and never for anything I've ever posted to Flickr. This image may have been somewhat influenced by the memory of Clive Barker's "Uriel" in his novel, "Weaveworld".

Notes : This one is taken in Singularity - the photo features here are different but still quite useful and straightforward.
Uriel or Auriel is the name of one of the archangels who is mentioned in the post-exilic rabbinic tradition and in certain Christian traditions. He is well known in the Russian Orthodox tradition and recognized in the Anglican Church as the 4th archangel.
He has a name of fire, but he may greet you with the warmth of summer, should you be practiced in penance.

✦ The Netherbind full-body tattoo is easily one of my new favorite BoM things in all of Second Life, hands down. The hypnotic, yet elegant curves of this tattoo absolutely blew me out of the water when I first saw them, and have such crisp detail and quality that I genuinely thought it was a mesh item at first! ✦ The Ancient Wings are a take on wings that I don't recall seeing anywhere else on Second Life in a good while. Half demonic, half angelic, these wings will most certainly give you the air of a being who is torn between the Heavens and the Hells, with the option to be fully feathered, or fully webbed! As always, Aii has given us a great number of color choices and sizes, and even optional jewelry to really solidify the feeling of opulence! Former US Navy serial 141022. Accepted by the US Navy on 4 May 1956 and served at a number of naval stations, including North Island, Alameda, Glenview, New Orleans, Washington and Bermuda before retirement to AMARC on 14 February 1981. It was sold to ARM in January 2012 and flew out of DM on August 10, 2016.
