Right before the desert of emstrur theres a small bridge and this nearby waterfall.
Then the laugavegur trail in ICELAND enters the black desert of emstrur.

Here is an interesting looking structure that serves no purpose that I could determine. If it were floating in the water and the bricks were wood then, perhaps, there might be some hope that it were a type of ship if those four thingies on the top could be raised up into a position to catch the wind. But as it stands, it is a mystery.

I saw this plant at Tamala Park Conservation area. Not sure what it is and i suspect it may be a weed but I genuinely don't know. It was very cute and about the size of my fist.

When considering the weather on this day, I figured a visit to Roberts Creek was in store. The clouds were moving quickly but also clinging close to the horizon. The stanchions there, would help frame any boat that happened by, and also bring interest to the shot. Technically, most images leave room ahead of the subject, but I wanted to grab an emotion and tell a story instead. One of departure and sailing off into the unknown.
To my good fortune, and after perusing about, a very fast moving sailboat did cruise by. I had already composed the shot, making it a matter of waiting for the final element. Small adjustments were made and then as the boat sailed into place, the final shot was made. That bird on the end, was icing on the cake, as the rest bid a fond farewell.

No idea as to what type, but I think that this one is a looker. As far as the photo goes, Iwould have liked to have had the head in focus, but as is, I really like this one because of the wings.. Not too often you see damsels resting with their wings exposed like that, so it was a treat to be able get them pretty sharp with the reflections coming off of them.
