Unfortunately the sun was so strong that morning. And I over exposed the shot. So I had to do a heavy treatment to make this picture look even somewhat reasonable. But I think at least you can see the framing I was trying to achieve. :)
Unfortunately this beautiful dragonfly got hit by a car. We found it near the street on the bike lane. It did agree to a memorial photo. It was a beautiful creature and I'm sad everytime I find a victim of humankind.
Unfortunately tonight came the news that white tiger Rama passed away, Rama turned 11 years old. Rest in peace Rama.
Unfortunately we can not travel to the Alps, and my homesickness is so stong that I resumed a photo from my archive, to DREAM about!
Wish you all the BEST!
Unfortunately, I found a beetle dining on one of my rose bushes, I want to enjoy them before they are destroyed. Every year I battle the beetles but they always win.
Unfortunately on a cloudy day. The CN Tower in Toronto is 553m tall, and was the World's tallest tower at the time it was completed (1976). It is standing on former railway land and the name CN refers to "Canadian National" the railway company that built the tower.
The main visitor areas are in the larger pod: the Glass Floor and Outdoor Observation Terrace which are both located at an elevation of 342 m and the Indoor Lookout Level located at 346 m,
Above this, on top of the concrete structure is the SkyPod at 446.5 m. The SkyPod was once the highest public observation deck in the world until it was surpassed by the Shanghai World Financial Center in 2008.
On top of the SkyPod is a 102-metre (334.6 ft) tall metal broadcast antenna, carrying TV and radio signals.

Unfortunately COVID-19 has put a halt to my travel plans for this year. As a new project, I am going to post a set of images I photographed when times were better, newly converted to
b&w. Hope you like them. Here is the first: the Cliffs of Mohr.
Unfortunately, all my Flickr friends, the snow we got rained away last night, so the only snow I have found, is in my computer. This picture I shot 2 years ago.
Wish all a HFF!
Texture my own.
A lotus blossom, Mai-Hi-Ren (Dancing Princess) in our backyard. This one chose to bloom on a rainy morning.
Unfortunately I didn't have my camera on a hike. So as this balloon was passing by I had to use my smartphone.

This is a sport balloon btw. The crew was training for a national championship (I'd never heard of this championship before)
Unfortunately I had a problem with flickr and with this post. So I have to repost my shots from yesterday and today. I hope You don’t mind.
When I stood in the forest swamp near Grossdittmannsdorf I felt like I had walked far back in time. As the rising sun was shining through the morning mist I could surmise like the world could have looked like many thousand years ego. I expected a T-Rex ore a Veliceraptor emerging between the trees any moment. A really surreal moment. Afterwards I'm glad, that non of them was approaching. Only a pair of grey herons felt annoyed by me and came across insulting very loud.
Unfortunately I don't know the frog's ID. Fairly common throughout its large range, Tawny-bellied Screech-Owl inhabits the interior of humid lowland forest. There, they are the most common screech-owl, as Tropical Screech-Owl (Megascops choliba) favors edges and second growth. Strictly nocturnal, Tawny-bellied Screech-Owls generally stay in thick lower vegetation, making it often difficult to view. They occur in red, brown, and gray morphs. The red and brown morphs are distinctly dark overall, but all morphs share the distinguishing long ear-tufts, dark facial disk, and dark eyebrows. Compared to Tropical Screech-Owl, Tawny-bellied is darker overall, and the darker eyebrows are a good field mark. Their song is a long series of rapidly-delivered hoots on a steady pitch. The pace of the song is faster in northern Amazonia, leading to speculation that the Tawny-bellied Screech-Owl may include two distinct species, very similar in appearance but differing in vocalizations. From my files.
Thanks a lot for your visits, comments, faves, invites, etc. Very much appreciated!

Unfortunately, such appeals are unlikely to persuade the belligerent Russian fascists to end the criminal war against Ukraine.

Unfortunately the tawnies seem to have decided not to nest in the box we put up at the end of last year (there has been plenty of activity around it, but a pair of stock doves have now taken up residence)
However, the good news is that the owls continue to visit the area & this has given the opportunity for lots of photos/video of the birds - much more to sift through, edit and upload
Unfortunately, I have to take a break for a few months. However, when the ice melts and blades of grass turn green again, I will have more to share again!
Until then, Have a good one!
Unfortunately it is not my car at all!!! The car (and my chauffeur for the day) was the lovely Anders. Who I shamelessly poached to take me on a Royal tour of Whimberly. As we drove around the beautiful sim I, of course, waved "regally" to those we past by and noded gracefully to them all as Royals generally do.
We then went to the cafe to enjoy afternoon tea. Lots of sandwiches (crusts cut off, Royals do NOT eat such things) including cucumber slices and of course dainty cakes washed down with a delicious pot of Early Grey. It was all very civilised and then Anders drove me home for dinner and helped me out of the car. He is such a gentleman!!
The above song came to my mind when writing that little story of our adventure together

Unfortunately, there is not much left of the glacier, which only 20 years ago covered the entire mountainside. But according to researchers, there have been at least 8 ice ages in the last 750,000 years, so it will definitely return ... I think.👍

Unfortunately, the GB&W ALCos became rather dirty in their final days. Here four of them in varying shades of grime handle train 2 on a rather warm and humid late Spring morning.
Unfortunately it was the fifth season, aka mud season, in central Wisconsin on this April morning but a WC coal train colors the mood. Six-axle F 6653 leads symbol UPWTC, coal off the UP at the Twin Cities which WC will deliver to the Weston plant near Wausau.
Unfortunately I can't recall the name of this old French fortress but I do recall moving off it quickly as the rain came in.
Unfortunately, in this season the remaining pink peppercorns are not completely pink anymore.
In any case, I hope that you will like the result!
Have a nice Saturday evening, dear friends! ;-)
I'd been past this field on a few occasions recently, hoping to find a hare to photograph amongst the Buttercups. I found one this evening. Unfortunately the light had faded.
