Shumail, 85 is the president of the WCO ‘Sardar Nabi Bux1’ Panjpai. When asked how has RAHA changed her life she said, ‘RAHA has made me realize the importance the women in a society. I got the chance to travel to Islamabad for a conference too. It was the most memorable trip of my life. I realized the importance of education consequently we worked on our local schools. The toilet and water tank that we have built has benefitted us the most. Previously women spent their entire days traveling to a nearby spring to bring water, which was not even that clean. Now they have it at their doorstep. We have more time to work on more important things in life.’
