Bad weather today.. about 5-10 inches of snow. Not a good time to shoot but fortunately I saw this little UFO in the kitchen. ^__^

This week's assignment for Macro Mondays is "Tools and Utensils". What a fun subject that was! This is a skimmer on which an artificial light was shone. This created the somewhat UFO look. The blue background was created with blue wrapping paper.

Seul au monde que dessus du Fort Bloqué, le nuage est resté suspendu de longue minutes avant de se désintégrer au dessus de la plage. Du très beau spectacle.

En rentrant d'une balade aux champignons, ma file et moi avons vu un arc en ciel devant nous, (le soleil était à gauche), cet arc en ciel s'est vite transformé en .. avion .. Incroyable non ?
J'adore être témoin de ce genre de phénomène, d'autant qu'à priori, personne ne s'est arrêté pour "contempler" cet "avion" ..

Coming back from a mushroom walk, my daughter and I saw a rainbow in front of us, (the sun was on the left), this rainbow quickly turned into ... a plane.

I love to witness this kind of phenomenon, especially since, a priori, no one stopped to "contemplate" this "plane"..
That what we thought it might be as it appeared faintly in the distance on our way from Las Vegas to Burning Man 2016, soon after Tonopah, NV.
We had to drive a small side road to get closer, take this picture and then find out it's the now defunct Crescent Dunes Solar Energy Project (Wikipedia).

no, really, the only thing that I did to this image is crop it....a lot. 200mm on a full frame aint sh....it's not much. Look around, I'm not joking, there is a UFO in this shot.
For you airplane buffs, this is a T-33, America's first jet trainer, and the predecessor to the T-38 which is still flown today. (my t-38 was built in 1965, we had one in my flight that was built in 1959)
I can't get the dialog box to work, but it is just forward of the left wing. ok, the box worked....finally..
