The worlds tallest building, 819 m. Couldn't fit it into one frame, but LR Merge did the job.
Btw, I think Dubai was an excellent place for taking photos. Unfortunately my visit was for work, so I could usually not make it out on town until after the golden hour. Hopefully I can come back as a tourist (but it was terribly expensive..).
This photo was taken with red, green and blue filters by the EXI camera aboard the UAE Hope spacecraft, from an altitude of 24700 km at 20:35 UTC on February 10, 2021, one day after arriving at Mars. The north pole is at the top left, while the three great shield volcanoes of Tharsis Montes (Ascraeus Mons, Pavonis Mons and Arisia Mons) stand out at the center.
In the shot many thin clouds are visible and some shiny formations emerge even beyond the terminator, thanks to the processing. At the bottom left, a small object emerges which should be Deimos, according to the simulator.

Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR), Dubai, United Arab Emirates. 26-3-2025.
Lovely concrete blocks glowing in post-sunset light... Between the beach and the buildings there is a walkway with restaurants, cafes, and sales people trying to market housing projects to random tourists.
On another note, a few minutes after this was taken, I was told by a polite security person that photography with professional equipment was not allowed on the bridge I was standing. When I asked his definition of pro equipment, the answer was anything other than a cell phone.

Dubai's oil revenue helped accelerate the early development of the city, but its reserves are limited and production levels are low: today, less than 5% of the emirate's revenue comes from oil.
Dubai Marina - The largest man-made marina in the world.
Dubai Marina (Arabic: مرسى دبي, also called Dubai Marina Arabic: دبي مرينا) is a district in the heart of what has become known as "new Dubai" in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Dubai Marina is a canal city, carved along a two mile (3 km) stretch of Persian Gulf shoreline. When the entire development is complete, it will accommodate more than 120,000 people in residential towers and villas.
