26.04.2021 - ST44-1204 stoi na bocznym torze stacji kolejowej w Lipuszu tuż przed rozpoczęciem manewrów ze składem wagonów serii Uacs. Po przestawieniu wagonów na tor główny skład pojedzie jako pociąg towarowy w relacji z Lipusza do Działoszyna.
W oddali tuż za peronem widać budynek dawnej lokomotywowni, a na prawo od niej kolejową wieżę ciśnień.
Był to bardzo kapryśny pogodowo dzień. Pomimo przebijającego się co chwilę słońca i faktu, że były to już ostatnie dni kwietnia temperatura oscylowała w okolicach zera - niedługo po opuszczeniu Lipusza całą okolicę opanowała potężna śnieżyca, po której znowu wyszło słońce przeplatające się do końca dnia na zmianę z gęstymi chmurami.
Mit zwei sogenannten Zwiebelwagen der Bauart Uacs rollt 294 765 als EZK53998 von Maxhütte-Haidhof nach Burglengenfeld über die Naabbrücke kurz vorm Ziel und spiegelt sich im Fluß. Als der Zementverkehr von Burglengenfeld vor einigen Jahren wieder aufgenommen wurde war das eine kleine Sensation. Burglengenfeld, 30.03.2021.
With two so-called onion wagons of the Uacs type, 294 765 rolls as EZK53998 from Maxhütte-Haidhof to Burglengenfeld over the Naab bridge just before the destination and is reflected in the river. When cement traffic from Burglengenfeld was resumed a few years ago, it was a minor sensation. Burglengenfeld, March 30th, 2021.

Originally delivered to Northwest in 1964. To Cathay in 1975. With Uganda from 1980 to 1990. Other users were Seagreen, Grecoair and Aero Zambia.

NL Eerder in de week werd een sleep lege Uacs'en richting de Kijfhoek gebracht door Rail Force One (RFO). Op zaterdag 26 juli keert de trein terug naar het oosten, nu beladen met aluminiumoxide. Te Apeldoorn zien we RFO 1829 op pad met de fraaie sleep witte silowagens richting Bad Bentheim.
Een zekerheidje in Maintal blijft de cementtrein van MEG. De 156 staat al een tijdje op ons verlanglijstje maar het is weer het vaste koppeltje MEG 603 en 704 die dienst hebben. De trein begint wel steeds meer uit de GATX Uacs'en te bestaan wat de trein net weer iets anders maakt dan de vorige keren. Harrbach 30-04-2014.

Vectron 383.223, alebo "Krásna Hôrka" s peknou ucelenkou 22 vozňov Uacs ložených cementom z Považskej cementárne Ladce úspešne dorazil v silnej snehovej fujavici do železničnej stanice Kysak.
Vectron sa síce v tomto počasí s 1723 tonovým vlakom natrápil, ale postrková "Rakňa" 183.014 mu hore Štrbskou rampou bez zaváhania pomohla.
Nezvyknem sem dávať fotografie z mobilu, ale v tejto čarovnej pravej zimnej atmosfére som urobil výnimku nakoľko vláčik vyzeral veľmi fotogenicky.
Prvých 10 vozňov bolo nasledujúci deň pristavených do stanice Drienovská Nová Ves, a zvyšných 12 smerovalo na košickú nákladnú stanicu, tzv. "Hornád" kde je následne cement rozvážaný kamiónovými cisternami podľa požiadaviek zákazníkov.
Swara Lannock's tail lashed back and forth behind him slowly as he unknowingly drew that rough, pink tongue across his dark hued lips. Battered and nicked ears flicked at the voices that rose up from below, listening intently to what he could catch of the conversation as he continued to keep that unflinching stare of rust colored eyes fixed on Guin. He wondered for a moment about her reaction if she would spot him perched up here...he wasn't trying to hide any longer. Spotted fingers drifted to his belt again to pull out another small object, this time dropping it straight down below him where it would land with a dull crack. His head tilting to one side curiously.
Sebastian Ricks tilts his head. "They're the rooster crowing on top of the dungheap, bonita. Or they think they are. Makes them want to strut. Not surprised they're visiting the church. From what I know of the UAC, they don't like it when their playthings get away. Or forget their place." The soft clatter behind him makes him turn. He glances at the floor, then casually lifts his eyes to the balcony above. "Oh look, bonita," he drawls. "A furry cockroach."
Guinevere Fouroux's lips twist in a dry smile, rather enjoying the image of UAC soldiers as preening roosters... she only wishes they were so powerless. "Nothing but bullies," she mutters, but before she can say anything else something drops to the carpet behind him. Her eyes drop, brow furrowing, and she steps closer to it as she sees Bastian look up. Crouching, she reaches out with tentative fingers, then draws back sharply. "It's a bone," she whispers, then follows his gaze. Her breath catches. White... white and gray, and it's all she remembers. Everything and nothing. She stumbles back, back to her feet, eyes on the balcony. "I think... " She swallows, and blinks rapidly. "I think that's him... "
Sebastian Ricks steps past Guin. He rolls the bone toward him with his boot, then crouches with absent grace to pick it up. "Finger bone," he clarifies. It vanishes into his pocket as if it had never been. "The one who bit you?" he asks, cocking his head to eye the cat perched over their heads. With a cold, bright grin, he straightens and gives the cat a mocking wave. "Hey there, ese. Back for seconds?"
Swara Lannock's mouth drew into a wide wolfish grin as she looked up, two thick carnivorous fangs peeking out from beneath his upper lip, not the type of fangs you would expect on a neko, these were made distinctly big cat incisors. His tail swayed wildly, enough so that the tip would be seen swinging up from behind the low wall he perched on. It was apparent he gained far too much amusement from the woman's reaction. He watched with curious eyes as the finger bone was scooped up and deposited away like some trinket..his trinket to be exact. "You smell, delicious...ape" he murred in a playful, yet dangerous tone. The male's words didn't go unheard, he just chose to let them go unanswered for now.
Sebastian Ricks folds his arms over his chest in a flutter of black lace cuffs. "Eh, bonita, what are you gonna do? Like being chased down by a rabid dog, hey?" He watches the cat with a sly smile. "Just a dumb animal. Don't know no better."

It doesn't matter if it was one person or a few hundred. The loss of a life is not something you should be "thrilled" about. Before he was a painting bricks he was someones child just like the rest of you.
It should never get to the point where anybody should be losing their lives over painting a couple of bricks.
The early 90's Ilyushin IL-114 twin turboprop design is being revived with an upgraded -300 version being produced by Russia's UAC. Flight testing to start this year with first deliveries planned for 2023. Photo shows a -100 at Zhukovsky in 1992
A special UAC load heads south for the interchange at Elizabeth. Universal Alloy Corporation (UAC) in Canton makes special aircraft components that often get shipped out by rail on the GNRR. Due to the length of the pieces being slightly longer than the flat car they are loaded on, their has to be a buffer car on each end, hence the empty flat on each end. These loads are usually brought to the interchange as a separate move from the regular road trains, so it provides the chance to document one of the more unique ops this railroad does. 4-4-22
