The U-Bahn station at Eberswalderstrasse (in the distance) in the Prenzlauer Berg district is on an elevated section of the U2 line of the Berlin U-Bahn running over Schönhauser Allee. As the line approaches the junction of Oderberger Strasse and Sredzkistrasse the track dips to go underground whilst the road raises to run over the railway line.

I was searching for the Joshua Tree that looks like the one in the U2 album and this one seems to fit the bill.

U2-type 401+400 are approaching Heddernheim station from Bonames.
Clearly visible in the background is the line branch towards Bad Homburg (to the right) and towards Nordweststadt and Oberursel/Hohemark at the foot of the Taunus Mountains (to the left). The switches seen on the left lead to the siding/maintenance facility, which had been expanded with some additional sidings on the right.
The U2-cars were built and delivered from 1968 until the mid-1980s; the vehicles pictured belong to the last serie delivered.

Irish rock band U2 released their debut album "Boy" in 1980 with this photograph taken by Hugo McGuiness who subsequently worked on other U2 album covers. The subject's name is Peter Rowan, now a photographer and younger brother of vocalist Bono's avante-garde artist-friend Guggi. This picture joined the list of recording history's controversial covers due to issue of pedophilia which the photo was believed to have projected. Though the concern was only brought by fear of some quarters that it could negatively affect the band, the image was changed to a distorted photo of the quartet for it's release on American shores. U2, also composed of guitarist The Edge, bass player Adam Clayton, and drummer Larry Mullen Jr., is now one of the most respected acts such as "With Or Without You," "Sunday Bloody Sunday," "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For," "New Year's Day," and "Elevation."

From around 2003. One of the last Nikon 35mm film cameras made. This one is mated with the super sharp and fast Nikkor f1.4 50mm lens.
The U2 was sold in Japan, the N75 was for North America, and the F75 was destined for Europe.
