Shot in July 2017 during the Enduro GP (01-02 of July) at Grevena - Western Macedonia - Greece with an Olympus E330 + Sigma f/4-5.6 / 55-200 mm lens.
8.2bhp of throbbing, smelly 2 stroke power…I loved them!! This one was spotted at Great Northen Classics, Derby.
Only 258 Sonett IIs with the two-stroke engine were manufactured in 1966 and 1967.

This DKW comes from the first owner. The car was delivered new in Germany where the owner has stored it since 1978 when the car had done only 28.000 km. The car still has the first paint with the original Antik Weiss colour scheme with a graphite gray roof. It is a very good and original car for an uncluttered restoration. The original paper registration and a sales brochure are present.

Lovely Warburg 311 - a two-stroke car from East Germany.
Taken during the SALT-4 Rally, Wiltshire & Berkshire, June 2010. The SALT Rallies are the UKs only classic car tours designed specifically for Eastern European and vehicles of Cold War interest (vehicles must have been built on or before December 26, 1991).
