A bad memory is frustrating and can be downright scary.
If your memory isn’t what it used to be, you might assume that your memory issues are an inevitable part of getting older.
If your memory gets bad enough, you may think that you’re headed for dementia or Alzheimer’s. But memory problems can happen at any age and, in fact, are usually more a result of lifestyle habits than age-related mental decline.
There are many potential reasons for a bad memory, and fortunately, most are not serious or permanent.

Cream and Crimson window decal representing Indiana University. The primary campus (9 total) is located here in Bloomington,IN. My parents, my spouse, my four daughters and I are alumni. My oldest granddaughter will likely enroll for the 2021 freshman class. (I assumed that “Black” is not a color per se. The subject of Black/White as color is debated on the web with no true consensus.) The decal is on a dark rear widow of my MINI which I selectively under exposed to achieve the background.

Crazy Tuesday Theme: "Two Colours"
"Each day offers us the gift of being a special occasion if we can simply learn that as well as giving, it is blessed to receive with grace and a grateful heart."

Patent 6,281
On April 10, 1849, Walter Hunt was granted US patent #6,281 for his safety pin. Hunt's pin was made from one piece of wire, which was coiled into a spring at one end and a separate clasp and point at the other end, allowing the point of the wire to be forced by the spring into the clasp

Detail shot of the 25 de Abril suspension bridge in Lisbon, Portugal. Painted in 'International Orange', I believe that it is the largest suspension bridge in the world. It is compared to the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. It was opened in 1966 as the Salazar Bridge but renamed in 1974.
I used today's Macro Mondays theme (Vibrant Minimalism) as yet another excuse to play with sweets :D. This is a macro shot of a single M&M.

The fault, (dear Brutus), is not in our stars but in ourselves
Shakespeare
Julius Caesar, Act 1, Scene 2
This line is said by Cassius, a Roman nobleman, talking with his friend Brutus in Shakespeare’s tragedy, Julius Caesar. Caesar is assassinated by a group of Roman senators led by Cassius and Brutus after Cassius has convinced Brutus that Caesar aims to end the Republic to install himself as monarch. From there, Cassius argues that they are not fated to be puppets but rather to take control — that their destiny resides within themselves.
