A Golden Snitch is (as all Harry Potter fans already know) a winged Quidditch ball which, when caught by the Seeker, gains the team 150 points.
... and a game of Quidditch only ends when the Snitch is caught.
(... and The Golden Snitch is very hard to catch because it's so fast and difficult to see.)

In Norse mythology, Thor is the god of thunder and his hammer (called Mjölnir) has the power of lightning.
I had a difficult time choosing which image I wanted to post for the theme of #TwoColours! In the end, I chose the subtlety of this small bee stopping for a drink of water at the bird bath.
It was very hot and humid today, so I filled up the bird bath a couple of times. Helps to keep the birds and insects happy! Insects get thirsty too in this heat! Most times the insects are easy to overlook. They are much smaller with less splashing than the birds! :-))

Here is the line used in a creepy scene in The Shining when Wendy finds proof of the demise of her husband's sanity on paper.

A duck crossing is either a designated place designed to allow ducks to cross a road or a marked-off route through which ducks are commonly expected to travel.
While ducks are generally aware of their surroundings and possible dangers, they are not immune to accidents.
