This mural was created for the REBEL Youth Week. The mural located in a popular skate park in Mississauga Ontario features a 14' by 12' artwork that explores the old school writing of calligraphy with modern day communications platform Twitter. Here are some images of the mural and its creation. The calligraphy was hand lettered using a brush while all of the layout was done using illustration software (open source GIMP and Inkscape). The super talented Susan Mentis created the cursive hand lettering. The background was created by Applewood heights secondary school in Mississauga.

Recently Twitter redesigned a bit, and I didn't think it was so hot. This morning I was bored so I refreshed their redesign. Notes explain the change.
